Deepavali celebration wed night
Category: holidays
I headed over to UN South campus with (e:samathon1986), (e:enknot) and (e:terry) and my coworker Steve.

We arrived late so they were just about packing up by the time we got there. The sound of indian music made me so hungry. I guess its a conditioned response to it most often being associated with a buffet environment.

Unfortunately, all of the Indian places were closed. In fact just about every restaurant was closed. In the end we went to hardware where I had a great Malbec/SYrah and some delicious pork.

(e:terry) had to ditch out warcraft through for a Warcraft raid. The rest of us went to Roxys yo watch Sammeer and Tony sing kerioke.

Never had food at Hardware only been there when it was packed but those tables would explain the food.... Roxy's is a nice place Didn't know they let guys sing....HA.... They advertise it as Lesbian Karokee HA.... Glad it was fun Only thing is only had shots once and they where small or maybe it was the tasty costly blue stuff.......

I thought it was about Light? Have no idea even though I been to like get togethers for them but it wasn't really about the holiday .... Wait Might be wrong on that...

It was not a fireworks celebration?? The festival is 60% about fireworks back home, 10% about indescribable lunacy, 20% about plaque inducing foods and 10% mix of all the above.

Connecticut Street Sandwich Shop
Category: food
Today we went to the Connecticut Street Sandwich Shop for lunch. It was amazing and very priceworthy. I got a hamburger with cheese, mushrooms and Bacon and a salad with an egg. I will definately go back. They take every kind of card via an iPhone and it emails you the receipt.

Coppa Charcuterie
Category: food
We toured the new food market that will be opening in in the old horsefeathers location.

I was excited to see a stand for Coppa. I find thin slices of salted meat so delicious but I don't eat much of them because I generally avoid nitrates. Its one of the reasons I love procuitto because its just cured with salt.

Full Beard?
Category: hairy
Should I just grow a full beard? I never let the sides and bottom grow in for fear of looking homeless but I am so curious how it would look. I think the best approach might be to shave short and let it all grow out together.

I myself am folically challenged in the beard realm...just don't have the genes for it.

I can, however, grow a smart looking soul-patch.
tinypliny - 10/22/11 18:32
And there. the multiple forehead furrows!
tinypliny - 10/22/11 18:31
I am going back to work. Geez.
tinypliny - 10/22/11 18:31
That picture is so guilt trippy.
metalpeter - 10/22/11 18:29
Go for the ZZ Top look or that guy on Giants who is on the taco bell ads... Or you could do the metal band thing and braid it ? I myself can't stand that middle ground so never done it....
