The maple tree disease is so bad right now. Every tree around is infected. I wonder if they can even collect enough energy for the winter or if we will have streets lined with dead trees in a year or two. Its so bad on streets where they are all maple.
tinypliny - 07/22/11 13:27 Its scary... I didn't think about trees survive through the winter. I guess I am still unused to the concept of fall. Back home all trees are deciduous. I don't know if people notice these kind of things consciously (well, everyone except you!). Buffalo News ought to run a feature on this - do you know anyone there? Are there letters to the editor columns that you can send these photos to?
paul - 07/22/11 13:23 Its like every maple tree in buffalo.
tinypliny - 07/22/11 13:03 Why don't you phone the city? Do they have a department for green zones? They must... Who takes care of these trees, the municipality?

I really enjoyed watching them light the red flying lanterns.
tinypliny - 07/19/11 04:39 Wow - that looks the opening scene in the Pillars of the Earth!
paul - 07/19/11 02:25 You can see terry and casey in this one :::link:::

tinypliny - 07/18/11 18:55 That tree is creepy looking. If they were aiming for "dream-like", they totally reached a "nightmarish".
metalpeter - 07/18/11 18:14 How did they get that tree to be red that is so spooky and cool...
