Annoying chocolate, annoying actresses

I just had a piece of this Chocolate:

I am totally ready to puke right now. It is so horribly and cloyingly sweet, all my senses are revolting. Chocolate is not meant to be this disgusting!

Toblerone's website proudly proclaims:

Yuck. Yuck. Super-yuckety-yuckezoid-yuck.

The chocolate reminds me of three actresses I find super annoying.
1. Keira Knightly
2. Julia Roberts
3. Scarlett Johannsson

Yucketishly cloying.

Keira is great in those Pirate Movies but not sure about in other things.....

Scarlett is pretty good or maybe it is just all those curves .... I think she is good......

Honestly most actors aren't good.... They talk the same in every movie.... People think DeNiro is great and I like him but he talks and says everything the same way in every movie he plays.....

To Warn you Aero Bar has air holes in it but it is very good... Think they sell them at Globe Market on Elmwood (I really need to get one) that isn't the only place they sell them but they are from Canada....

E:strip search eccentricities

I think it might be helpful to document some of the weirdness that I experience with (e:strip)'s search function sometimes.

When I search for the term "wok":

This post about my wok mania turns up: (e:tinypliny,54663)

This post about my Amazon disenchantment while buying woks doesn't: (e:tinypliny,54693) (Though, wok is prominently in the title of the post and also mentioned in the body.)

The Last time I used search it went by words used in the Journals not by the topic or the tittle.... So if you are trying to find a certain post it can be hard.... I thought there was a way to check by person also but you would have to remember who wrote it?

So I have a higher number of corruptions than others? I wonder if this has something to do my compulsive and repetitive editing behaviour. I often pull up old articles and edit them just because I feel like it. Maybe the indexing can handle only a fixed number of versions and gets corrupted with a higher number... I always wonder about how versions work on estrip and i2. Newer image versions get a number hash appended but what about newer versions of posts?

My guess is there is something wrong with the index. I will look into it when I get a chance. The way search works, it does not actually look at every single word, it indexes the works in another place and then uses the indexes. If the index for that entry is corrupt then wok might not show up.

Then all the stuff that goes to Ohio I think that is would go someplace based on where it was headed and so on and so forth.... but I don't work for fed ex so can't tell ya anymore really....

Reason for stopping: general exhaustion, not specifically arm-pain.
Status: I was a complete hour late for this edition of project Armstrong because I got carried away talking with (e:Paul). So when I finally remembered, (e:Paul) offered to do push-ups with me. (Of course, he was doing the authentic push-ups, while I was trying to miserably drag through wimpy ones.) I think he got through 18-19 before I was done with my measly 12 with a ton of effort. It was nice to have someone doing the push-ups with me but it didn't really do much good in terms of motivating me to do more. I think this is a sign that the problem really lies so deep that it can't be fixed by mere peer motivation. (hey, that rhymes!)

Extensions = Achilles Heel of Chrome

I knew this day would come. Chrome might be rock solid in its security features, but the fact that any odd person on the planet can write non-peer reviewed and non-standards compliant extensions for Chrome is a major drawback. Someone has just finished an elaborate hack to steal all your Gmail contact emails if you are using Scratchpad - the nifty app that lets you use Chrome as a notepad and syncs all of your notes to Google Docs as a backup.

The very fact that the zillion extensions I try out ALL need blanket access to ALL my browsing history and whatnots is a a bit disturbing. So what do we do? Chuck out all extensions? Chrome wouldn't be half as useful without these extensions that I use constantly. I am in a big quandry right now, as are several other Chrome fans, I am sure.

Hmm.. yeah, doesn't sound like CUL will work. It works really well for journals. Zotero might be another option. But I have always found Zotero to be frustrating because of its association with firefox and its rudimentary (almost non-existent) support for chrome.

Yeah, that flashblock thing really makes surfing tolerable by eliminating a zillion useless videos all trying to load in the background and stealing your bandwidth.

It automatically saves a copy of each page that I bookmark so that if the page goes away (common with newspaper sources), I still have the content.

Yeah, I looked at it as an option when I picked diigo. Since so much of my research isn't journal-based, I'd still have to type in all the citation information. Citeulike doesn't offer a cache option, and it's not in current development.

To get around all these security hassles, I am now thinking of creating my own scratchpad like extension that would save things on google docs. But the problem is I have no idea about how to start. I read this :::link::: and extracted the .crx files of two of the apps I am interested in (Quicknote and Scratchpad). The idea is to the take the best features of each and combine them together... but its an uphill task since I have zero familiarity with all of this right now. More importantly, I have no time.

(e:heidi), have you ever looked at citeulike? I use that for all my work and school citations and references. There is no way I can trust anything else. All my PDFs, notes, fragments of writing, ideas, hypotheses are all on citeulike. It has numerous citation formats which are extremely convenient. I am now a "Gold member", not because the paid account is very different from the free account, but because I just like the service so much and know the developers personally... it's sort of like (e:strip) for me in a way but for work.

I use a bunch of extensions and stuff from diigo. I keep my tagged, cached bookmarks there in a pro acct: :::link::: which has worked wonderfully for tracking all the articles I read about gas drilling. It made writing that ridiculous paper at the end of the semester really easy. Diiogo in the Chrome store: :::link:::
I've been using Quicknote but it doesn't have all the features of Scratchpad. There's a screen capture thingy too.

fwiw, I can middle scroll with chrome in fedora and chromium in pclinuxos. I didn't feel like booting into Ubuntu to see if I could scroll with the middle mouse button there.
