Deep Fried Turkey
We deep fried a ten pound turkey for lunch today at work. It was injected with spices and had a spice rub on it. Delicious!

KeithT - 11/18/10 21:09
It reeeeeeally was! This guy I work with can big a pretty big asshole, but man can he cook!
paul - 11/18/10 21:04
That looks freaking delicious!

Uhhh Im kind of missing something.....
Ever since the age of 16-17 I've been 6'6" and 165lbs. Today I randomly decided to weigh myself with a digital bathroom scale after dinner. What the fuck happend?!!!

metalpeter - 10/06/10 18:17
Hard to know. It could be from working out more then or now. Could you have weighed in at a different time or time of year. Are you more active now?
KeithT - 10/06/10 11:15
Also @P- Ya Im pretty sure the scale is right.
KeithT - 10/06/10 09:39
@P -Protein milk shakes sound like a great idea for breakfast. I think Im gonna get some.

@A - I havent been on my bike in awhile because I keep popping my tires and its kinda getting cold.
brit - 10/05/10 23:45
it's all that bloody cycling innit?
paul - 10/05/10 22:12
Maybe you don't eat enough. For me the only thing that's makes me gain weight is the gym and milk shakes. Are you sure the scale is right?
KeithT - 10/05/10 20:40
None of those except a receding hairline. I'm rather sure that that is genetic though lmao! My super facial hair?
tinypliny - 10/05/10 20:35
I know! In a country where 1/5th of the population is morbidly obese (BMI > 30)...
tinypliny - 10/05/10 20:34
Do you have dry or shiny patches on your skin, sores that are healing slower than usual, is your superficial-hair falling out (all sound like desperate questions but they need to be asked since you have publicised your latest BMI)!!
KeithT - 10/05/10 20:28
Wow, under weight? O.o I feel okay and everything seems normal. What do you mean by skin changes?
tinypliny - 10/05/10 20:23
6'6". ZOMG. That's like a WHOLE 50.3 cm waaay over the sky.
tinypliny - 10/05/10 20:20
You were leaning on a wall?

You went from an already low BMI of 19.1 to a clinically underweight BMI of 17.8.

How is your appetite? Any skin changes? Do you feel okay?

Ultimate fly trap *NOT FOR A WEAK STOMACH*
I came into the shop tosay and there were a million flys alllll over the place because some asshole didn't cover the garbage. I was lucky enough not to actually drink any of this after it turned into a fly trap. I counted 14 :x

image
tinypliny - 08/13/10 16:53
Why would flies be attracted to strong coffee? Must have had a tonload of sugar in it...
KeithT - 08/13/10 13:51
@ms.wtiny - That is very STRONG coffee. It doesnt taste good at all, but its effect is nearly instantaneous haha.

@paul - very yuck, the count has to be near 20 by now
paul - 08/13/10 13:34
Yuck
tinypliny - 08/13/10 13:18
Was that chocolate or coffee? Doesn't look like tea...

The Blue Fuji!
I took a couple of pics of my fancy new fixie. These are two of my favorite places to ride to, Tift st and Route 5, and Hoyt Lake-pond at Delaware Park. That color blue just pops with the sky and looks amazing.

My entire set up only cost 280 which was only 5 dollars over my budget. Have you ever tried fixed gear?
libertad - 07/28/10 13:36
I really like your bike. I just got a brand new bike even though I prefered a used one. I just don't love it like my last one. Not sure I ever will even though it is a nice ride.
KeithT - 07/27/10 17:36
Thanks! Ive always loved photography, but HATED carrying a camera. My lovely new phone solved that problem with 8 wonderful megapixels of clarity.
tinypliny - 07/27/10 17:22
You take spectacular snaps.
KeithT - 07/27/10 11:36
Aww, thanks sug!
paul - 07/27/10 09:42
It goes good with your eyes.

Sooo beat
I went to ricks cycle shop on allen with a friend on friday. I bought a road bike and then converted it to fixed gear. Its a rather intense but extremely fun ride. Ive been riding all around Allen Town and the Elmwood area. Ive been starting at my house....in south buffalo.

Today I took a ride down Route 5 and took some pictures from a spot Ive never been before. Now it really looks like the "sky way".

KeithT - 08/13/10 20:44
Hyper-hip even. Im just lame. None taken.
lilho - 08/13/10 20:36
is "fixing" a bike the new hip thing to do or something??? it seems really just lame to me. no offense.
KeithT - 07/29/10 07:35
Nope, no coasting. Your rear wheel is chained directly to the crank sprocket(pedals). If the rear wheel moves, so do your pedals. I just go down hills kinda slow till I reach a point when I know I can keep up.
jenks - 07/28/10 15:54
But can you coast? Or if, say, you go down a hill and start going fast, does it make your legs spin a million rpm? And I posted a video, just for you. :)
KeithT - 07/28/10 15:03
When Im going slow enough I use that method to brake. Though I have a front brake just incase I need a lil bit more.
jenks - 07/28/10 14:50
Can you freewheel? That (i.e. braking) is what scares me the most about fixies.
KeithT - 07/28/10 14:33
@tiny :Hehe thanks lil lady! Ill try my best to post a bit more. I always have trouble finding topics to post about though.

@lib: I asked on my other post if you ever tried fixed before I seen this one. Ive had 10 and 18 speed bikes but I always end up wrecking the gear shifter. I ride bikes into the ground or until they're clicking everytime you touch the pedals. Though this was all before I bought a car at 18 lol!
For me fixed is a better ride because there's nothing else to worry about except where you're going, and pedaling. Its not hard for me to get up and over the man bridge in delaware park near David. I dont understand enough about gear ratio to really go indepth. Its a crazy work out though. You should come with Terry and I the next time we go for a ride.
tinypliny - 07/28/10 13:53
There is something so vibrant about your photos and you always have clouds in them. The colour just pops out. More. More. More!
libertad - 07/28/10 13:39
I tried looking at Rick's but the ones that they had in my size were super heavy. I'm curious as to why you would convert to fixed gear? I never rode one but isn't it nice to have the gears for hills and stuff?
KeithT - 07/27/10 09:20
It kills you. No other way to put it.
jenks - 07/27/10 08:05
Nice! I'm too chicken to ride a fixie.
