If you got a shower like that at the next Party that would change the entire meaning of (e:strip) non of the pictures could be posted cause they would all violate the TOS, HA. That is not like a 10 minute shower and get out kinda thing. There is like a 2 or 3 person minimum and the water will only go on if if judges the two people awesome enough....................................

I love fancy-pants showers. But that one is a little intense. How do you escape the water? The overhead one rains on you, so you step out of it and there are two jets squirting your face. Then that crotch sprayer... It is so intense there is no escape. You need to approach this shower with equal intensity. Thus, don't even bother getting in there unless you are porn mogul Michael Lucas with a show girl strapped to your back.

I don't know enough about computers but I have 2 ideas.

1. Apple likes to pride its self as being different, you see this in all their ads and I think they think different is superior so if they don't like something they don't care and think their way is better any way and people will have to take it.

2. They are working on something that will be their own version of flash and try to get it to take over the web.

In Other words they are trying to take over what ever they are trying to take over.

How is this situation advantageous for Apple? I assume that Apple is doing this for a reason. Do you have any idea what it might be?

I Can't imagine having foggy or blury vision, except when I wake up of course. Bars often with them being dark and beer signs being bright can be tough to see in then there are all these distractions I can't imgine having foggy glasses.

Yes there are people who really do need glasses and for those that do go for it. And for those that like them cause they say Dolci and have diamonds I say go for it. But I still think that there are a lot of people who don't really need them but whom they are sold to anyways.

I hope that It never gets to a point where I really need them. If that does happen though I do Have an idea on how to style them up a bit.....

I hate that feeling of not being able to see in a bar. I am surely going to get the surgery but I am waiting until the winter when I can guarantee I won't have any eye allergies for months in case there are any complications.

Yea for new glasses! I'd be a severe threat to society if I drove without glasses - my vision was so bad at 16 that I have the little mark on my license that says I can't drive without vision correction. I had gas-permeable contact lenses during high school & college which seemed to help stabilize the vision changes. Now my prescriptions usually just need modified slightly, more astigmatism usually.

It's such a stressful moment to walk into a place like a bar in the winter and have to take off my glasses because they're fogged up. I can't tell who anyone is and can't acknowledge people greeting me because I can't see them.

Oh the color thing is interesting. I found something saying its actually a correction as well. " Color changes with RLE tend to relate to the removal of a discolored natural crystalline lens and replacement with a clear intraocular lens (IOL). Color change with RLE is actually resolution of a discoloration problem."

Jason- I think it can wear off sometimes, but it's usually supposed to last a long time, like 20 years-ish.

One interesting thing I just learned about lasik is that it has a very subtle effect on your ability to discern colors- which is why microsurgeons can't have it.

And ok peter, yes, a lazy eye actually is about muscles. So that actually CAN be trained. But not the actual FOCUS part of vision (visual acuity).

And yes, my vision was ok when I was a kid. But it slowly started getting worse. And I just thought that's how it was for everyone. Then one day I tried on my dad's glasses and realized I could see a million times better with them. So I went to the eye doctor and got glasses. But my vision has continued to get worse and worse over the years. And that's just what it does. As you/your eyeball grow, it can change. And then eventually in most people it stabilizes and doesn't change any more. It doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I wear contacts.

Do you HAVE to wear glasses? of course not. If you can stand everything being blurry and/or not being able to read- fine, live with it. But why not be able to see???!

But absolutely if your vision is so bad you can't drive safely, I think you owe it to society to either get glasses, or not drive. That becomes a public safety issue.

And sure, 20/20 is based on a 'norm' and I guess that is somewhat subjective. And if you are out of the 'norm' and are happy with it, good for you.

I for one will stick with my glasses.

First of all I Am Supposed to have glasses for reading. I think I had/Have what they call lazy eye. I can see things from what I think is a long way a way but can't read them. In Terms of reading a paper or book I have a strange problem my self. It isn't that I can't see the small lettering it is that if the thing I'm reading is far away I will skip a line, and be like what that makes no sense and then go oh I skipped a line.

Now I could be wrong about this (e:Jenks) but I think that the reason you vision is blurry with out contacts is because your eyes adjusted to them. I'm not saying you have perfect vision but I'm guessing it was better before the use of contacts.

You Have people who are farsighted and Near sighted and then people who have 20/20 vision here is my question why are the people with 20/20 considered "The Norm". I'm sorry I don't buy that I think everyone has eyes that perform differently. As long as you can perform what you need to perform in life why get glasses.

What makes things complicated is that your mind combines two images into one. But as long as you can see well enough to see where to get off at a highway and not crash into anyone and read your GPS then you don't need glasses.

I think it is one of these things of averages. If you are out of the Average you need something to put you into the Average, well no you really don't.

I have heard that with that Lasik you can lose some of its effectiveness, it in some people has caused Depression. But I wonder if their is some type of tie in to that of them not needing glasses and that changes them some way.

hahaha Peter, you must be one of the lucky people with good vision. And that is something I frankly can't even imagine. 'Like, you can SEE? Without glasses? Just nothing in/on your eyes? And you can see? For real? You're telling me those trees over there are NOT all blurry? You can actually READ that sign?" I am blind as a bat. If I take my contacts out, I can't see anything in focus until it is about 5 inches from my face.

I'm not sure people get glasses who don't need them, aside from maybe those over-the-counter reading glasses from walgreens or whatever. So I think I'd have to disagree that it's a scam... Besides, wearing glasses is a pain in the ass. I'm not sure many people would do it for no reason.

And for what it's worth... 20/20 is a real, measurable thing. And there are really no muscles involved in vision... It's all about the shape of your eye and how the lens focuses light on the retina.

I think Glasses are mostly a scam. Lets think about this for a second. There is this thing they call 20/20 vision. If you don't have it then you need some kind of glasses. But think about all the people you see with glasses for something I'm guessing maybe 1 of 5 people need glasses. So if this is the case then that 20/20 vision thing can't be right.

Lets say the doctor says you have week eyes or what ever. So Then you get glasses so you can see better. I think that since you are talking about a muscle that what will happen is your body will adjust and your muscle will just work less hard and you will see the same. This means that your eyes will get weaker and the glasses you need will get stronger. but that is just me
