24 Linwood has one more brown side. Well, minus the dormer, cornice,
and orange trim. Bye, bye 50 hours, hello brown. It's finally
starting to looking unified.
tinypliny - 04/12/10 22:15 heheh - (e:libertad), I thought the same!! But the house is so symmetric - there is no porch on the sides. It is the side facing the church! :)
libertad - 04/12/10 21:23 I was looking back at some of your older entries today and you guys have done so much to transform this house.
Why is your car in the front lawn?

These one from the coop were the best I ever had. Way better than
most and I am a chicken leg freak. They smelled so good it made me
wonder if the ones I usually buy are just kind of spoiled?

On the newly completely boulevard in front of UB south campus, the
paint is already almost all worn off. It makes me wonder if that new
kind of concrete street really works out. Do they have to repaint it
every year?
zobar - 04/11/10 12:24 I remember reading an article about this somewhere .. of course now I can't remember the municipality. The highway superintendent said they could use paint, which only lasts a year, or some kind of tape which lasts much longer but is more expensive. He said the tape was so much more expensive than paint that it was still cheaper to repaint the roads every year. Score one for technology, I guess.

tinypliny - 04/11/10 11:18 They must. It's how they waste the city's money - just like they stretch the repairs through the ENTIRE summer and half the winter every year.
