I want this bike

It is on sale and I just might buy it unit I still there on the
weekend. It has the exact seat/tire combo I am looking for. Just not
sure about the handlebars. I am so bad with that kind.

I know nothing about Bikes. I know that I like how that one looks, I also think it looks like elmwood. What I mean is it is a style that would fit in with the strip.
zobar - 04/07/10 22:49
Throw in a lion's-head bell on the handlebars and you've got a deal.

Dyngus day 2010
Category: holidays
We hit up the east side for dyngus day.

It was so crazy packed everywhere. There must have been 5,000+ people at the terminal but they were pouring each beer by opening the bottle and pouring it into a plastic cup and there were like 4 workers.

Why can't Italians have a drinking holiday for (e:mike) and I. Who's in for Columbus day 2011!

This jerk in the red sweater cut me in line. Her friends kept encouraging her to "be assertive." I just wanted to punch her but I figured I was an outsider and would get killed.

Aftewards, we headed over to some polish bar in the old polish hood
where they had tastier food. It was fun there.

I have heard (can't confirm this) that people travel here to celebrate Dyngus Day. I also read again can't confirm this that Buffalo's is one of or maybe the biggest in the country. Hope everyone had a great time, oh yeah I have never done anything for the day.
jenks - 04/07/10 14:29
I didn't realize Dyngus Day is such a Buffalo thing. I wished Chris a happy dyngus day, since he is (part) Polish, and he had no clue what I was talking about. ha!
ladycroft - 04/07/10 06:52
That's right, all us Polish folks are well connected! If ya'll hate line cutting, don't EVER come to the Middle East, you'll explode.
metalpeter - 04/06/10 18:10
Glad you had a good time.

Now I'm going to sterotype a bit:
The reason their isn't an Italian Drinking holiday is that they don't drink like the Germen's, Irish, and Polls, they all drink beer and often lots of it. Have you ever seen the size of those Steins. Italians drink wine before during and after dinner then maybe with Desert. It is a different kind of drinking. It isn't I have had a long hard day lets get smashed. It isn't like the irish that have drinking and fighting songs and where a fight might be a common thing. It is more Of lets drink cause I love you, or what ever the emotional thing is. No you can't leave untill you eat thing.
jason - 04/06/10 11:11
I hate that cutting in line crap. That happened to Josh and I at Dyngus Day and believe me, they knew we were unhappy. Of course they were fucking Polish and connected somehow so nothing came of it. You're also right about the terminal and how awful it is to get a beer. Better off pre-gaming and hitting the vodka fountain. That was one of the worst hangovers I've ever had, definitely top 3. Glad you had a good time.

Spring swimming in zoar valley
Category: hiking
I went to zoar valley with (e:mike) and (e:libertad). It's was so awesome
out. We even went swimming! I think is the earliest I have been
swimming. It was cold though, especially when my nuts hit the water
but we survived thanks to the 82 degree air temperature. I I've freak
warm spring days because unlike summer and fall, there are barely any
bugs and no mosquitos or horse flies.

The waterfall was so beautiful right, I wish I took pics.

The valley has changed since the flood. I seriously cannot belive how
high the water must have been during the flood last year. There was
debris and trees fallen 15 feet above normal creek level. It must have looked like the niagara river.

The island we skinny dip on was almost washed away and a new island
formed that was connected to shore by two giant trees that were
brought down when their roots washed out. They made awesome bridges.

metalpeter - 04/04/10 09:28
you guys are much braver then I for the swimming thing. Plus the entire skinny dipping thing is something I have trouble wrapping my head around. I think I have seen to many shows where like someone takes the persons clothes or something. Or with my luck when I can't take the cold anymore others would come by... Now a few ladies of college age I might not mind at all but with my luck it would be like people I know I don't think I could handle that. Wait I know I couldn't handle that.

On to the camera thing.
1. If you are thinking about getting a new Camera you might want to look into spending a few more bucks and get a Water Camera. Granted I haven't tried mine in the water yet. But they are at least nice cause you don't have to worry about the rain and snow. You may want to look into it

2. If you Where to get one and wanted to stay local you could go to Delaware Camera. Bridgete works there but I don't know if she would be able to help you out at all but I'm sure she could at least get you some info......

24 Linwood painting continued

I got to paint with no shirt on most of the day. The ladder pic is
from like 5 feet higher than the other one. There is no more fucking
hot pink on the house. Side 2 is more than halfway brown. Next step
is the trim. Then the dormers, then the porch floor, then the
woodwork, then the bricks, then get the fireplaces going. Then redo
the bathroom, then the kitchen, then garage. It will never end.

You always hang on with just one hand, how else would you paint?
metalpeter - 04/03/10 15:18
How in this one and the other one you held on with One hand and got a picture I have no idea it is mind bogleing . The other thing is what is Wrong with the Kitchen, I like it, it has a lot of things to lean on.
tinypliny - 04/03/10 08:59
Vertigo inducing... Vvvvvvvveeerrrrtiiiigoooooo.
