Paul: Did you see my finger?
Me: Yes Paul, I did. It's gross.
Paul: I smashed it so hard with a sledgehammer. And then it part of it flapped open and.. (this is where I tune him out because it was disgusting.)
Me: Why did you need a sledgehammer to plant trees?
Paul: After you plant them you hit them a few times. A hurt tree grows faster trying to heal.
Me: Oh. Really? I guess yeah I can see that.
Paul: (laughing) Ok I can't really let you believe that because you're going to go around hitting trees now.
Me: Most gullible moment of 2009.
i love! looks so beautiful. Thanks for sharing!!
(e:tiny)- So I'm pretty sure you can eat any of the mushrooms, but I'm not a huge mushroom fan anyway so I didn't even bother looking them up online.
(e:josh) - actually I hadn't taken a shower at all that day because I knew we were just going to hike all day. And the black sweater I'm wearing had dried fish guts all over it. I was a dirty girl in Alaska!
(e:terry) (e:peter) - Wow thanks! I actually had no idea I had taken pictures that turned out until I just went in Picassa and looked at them. It just makes me miss it more looking at these.
Are both of those mushrooms poisonous? How can one tell?
wow seriously Jess nice pics! Who knew you were such a lil photographess?
Nice Pictures hope it was a great time.
It's all about looking fabulous while hiking, IMO!
Thanks Matt! The glacier pictures were taken from a tour (the only one we took) boat. They bring you right up to the face of the glacier so you can hear it move. It was pretty amazing (and effing cold!).
Everything else was either from hikes or walking around.
Wow, Beautiful photos! did you take the ice ones from a boat? How was the weather?
