i've been poisoned
so there were a million things i am supposed to do today but instead i am lying here.

my body is currently rejecting all food and water and i think i have food poisoning.

no one is around and i need some gatorade, but i am not sure i can do a trip to the store and back.

i hope it doesn't get to the point it did fours years ago when i collapsed... because it's seeming to head in that direction.

theecarey - 11/11/09 12:54
update us! are you doing any better? stay hydrated as well as you can.
libertad - 11/10/09 16:17
Sorry lilho. I hope you feel better. Don't worry about the gatorade just have some water. Do you have a fever?

11/09/2009 23:42 #50262

barftastic
that is the word to describe how i feel right now. my insides are at war.

i have been in contact with way too many sick people in the past week, and i thought i was invincible but i think it has caught up with me.

well its either flu or food related. god forbid i caught the swine, but i doubt it. but that would be kinda cool, only if i didn't die. but that's creepy because if i did get it and die, then i predicted my own death which means i am psychic and this whole time i should have been making bank with my own psychic hotline.

good thing i picked up a shift at one of my jobs tomorrow... i am hoping it all blows over.

i have to tell my vegas story but not now because i might puke all over my laptop.

goodnight.

No you cannot align yourself with the likes of Miss Cleo and Dionne Warwick. I kind of understand what you mean about sick people - I've been 'that guy' using Purel every five seconds. It's sad, but I'm not about to get sick.
leetee - 11/09/09 23:56
feel better soon.

two people at my work are off with h1n1, plus, my 17 year old nephew had it a week ago.

here's to hoping neither you or i have it!

being sick
sometimes things work out way different than you planned.

this time the moral of the story is, you do not leave someone when they are sick. even if they just need to sleep and you are bored. just being there is what they need.

plus bedside water and gatorade helps.

a friend in need is a friend indeed.

That is so cute.

two can play at the vicious game
this man i work with has a mild case of tourette's syndrome. i really think i set it off in him somehow.

he's actually a really handsome guy, and i used to have a slight crush on him, but he is always saying the weirdest stuff to me and now i just feel strange around him.

i know he thinks i am really pretty, so maybe i make him nervous or something???

anyway, yesterday i kinda yelled out a question to him, and i guess maybe i sounded a bit rude, but i wasn't saying anything out of line. i was just asking if an admit was cancelled or not. he freaked out at me and came over and and said a bunch of stuff about how i don't know ho to form conversations, and then used a weird voice and came closer and said,

"two can play at the vicious game sarah."

ok, what does this mean??? i am not vicious. i don't play games at work. i pretty much go there to work and get paid.

(e:hodown) thinks this whole situation is so funny, but i am just confused.

i have to go get ready for work so i can play the vicious game...
leetee - 11/05/09 11:17
(e:lilho), i am glad we could clear this issue up. :o)
metalpeter - 11/04/09 17:59
Maybe he likes you and like Chris Issiac so he is being clever with the song lyrics. Often times at work people do play games and don't even know it, or maybe that is just at my place.
lilho - 11/04/09 14:17
wow, my bad (e:leetee), i thought you were calling me out. i was all like "skhazamm", she got some beef with my and i didn't understand. moral of story, maybe i do have the vicious, and i will be only sweet to the weird coworker.
jason - 11/04/09 13:44
Maybe he is just socially awkward, and this is his way of trying to get into them jeans. BTW the peacock outfit was cool, those poses crack me up.
libertad - 11/04/09 13:42
Peaches!
leetee - 11/04/09 13:40
Holy crap. All i was trying to say is that you were NOT being a bitch. You did not INTEND to be a bitch, but maybe HE THOUGHT you were being a bitch. I was actually on your side. But, i will refrain from commenting, if it will make you feel better.
matthew - 11/04/09 13:32
No one said you were being a bitch. But if you said/did something that he interpreted as bitchy then ,IMO, you should apologize, if not just to smooth things over and make your job more comfortable for you. If it was me I wouldnt apologize for a bitchy remark i didn't make, but I'd apologize for being misunderstood. Especially if this is patient at the hospital and not your coworker.
lilho - 11/04/09 13:13
Ok I was not being a bitch to him. I asked him a question. He yells things out to me all the time its a hospital we get busy. Maybe people shouldn't leave butch comments here to me when I don't make ride comments towards them. Ok thanks.
matthew - 11/04/09 12:54
Maybe if you apologized for (what he thought was) your "rude" comment he would apologize for his? Work drama sucks, especially when's it's drama caused by misunderstandings.
hodown - 11/04/09 12:50
I chalk this up to (e:lilho) having the Mary Heart affect on the dude (Seinfeld anyone). You just set him off. Combine that with the hearing loss and that's a comedy waiting to write it's self.

I also think we should start a gang "Sweet & Vicious".
lilho - 11/04/09 12:21
I wasn't being a bitch I was asking a simple question. Leaving rude comments is bitchy.
leetee - 11/04/09 12:17
Uhm, yeah, you were totally misunderstood. It's not like you KNEW you were being a bitch... someone musta just thought you were being one? Craaaazyyy....

some sort of fancy bird
now you can see the whole costume... im sad now that halloween is over. i never liked halloween until this year. i realized it has potential for full on glitter and camp, which is basically what makes life worth living! what to be next year...

I feel like you should send a piocture of this to Liza Minelli.
matthew - 11/03/09 10:16
If you were a bird Sarah, you'd definatley be a peacock.
heidi - 11/02/09 22:32
I want "how to be a girl" lessons from (e:lilho) & (e:hodown).
libertad - 11/02/09 21:04
I want that bird. I love you because you don't wear cheap makeup.
lilho - 11/02/09 19:24
oh, the makeup was really easy to get off. i turned on the shower and sat down and washed my face! i use a loreal cleanser that removes eye makeup as well. the feathers came off easily, i used latex eyelash glue, and it comes off painlessly and easily. i dont use cheap makeup, so it didnt irritate my face, and instead of crappy face paint, i used liquid shadows. i bought really fine glitter at the craft store because it is much cheaper than the sephora stuff and essentially the same thing and the jewels i used the latex glue for as well. i brought eye drops with me the the parties because the glitter was irritating my eyes and that helped to clear them out!
lilho - 11/02/09 19:18
thanks guys! it was actually pretty simple to do the costume, the makeup was the hard part which was actually a lot more intricate in person. for the feathers around my neck and back i pinned a boa to my leotard. i bought a tutu that didn't fit right, so i cut off the waist band and pinned the tutu to fit around my waist and pinned the purple flower broach to the front and i wore black spandex leggings underneath. the feather tail was angel wings turned upside down and worn at the waist and tied around with elastic like a belt. i glued an extra row of feather plumes to the bottom of the back of the wings to elongate the tail and add color and voila! i am thinking of being an ostrich next year, but an elegant one as they are not a very pretty bird!
heidi - 11/02/09 16:50
Wow!!!! I'm so glad you posted full pix! That's a total winner of a costume. Beautiful job!!! How did you do it?

(btw, were the feathers & glitter hard to get off your face?)
businesscheese - 11/02/09 12:25
Love it, Lilho! Espesh the eye makeup. Rawr.
