Speed Date
Category: love life
So I missed the party again I know, wish I could've made it. Looked like a good time again.

I've hit the realization that I'm older than I feel I am....and time is ticking. I feel I need to find the right woman and fast! I've tried things I never thought I would before....Craigslist, if you get through all the fake listings and don't end up getting mugged instead of a date, can be an ok method...met a girl I've been hanging out with lately but just am not really really into......I also went on a Speed Date held at Chocolate Bar which was actually a lot of fun. Couple really cute girls there, matched up with one of them and had the best date ever with her, but then she blew me off without explanation. arghh Oh well there's another one next month :)

As an upside I have heard they have great food and drinks. I think speed dating is a great idea, don't think it would work for me though personally. I wish you luck.
jenks - 03/22/09 22:58
is there speed dating in buffalo? (i guess so, duh...) I did it once in med school and it was fun. Would totally try it again.

So has anyone seen Avant yet? It's behind the Hampton Inn on Delaware/Chippewa. Freakin' awesome for Buffalo! Check it out

I would if I had the money. With $1 million you could maybe buy 10 houses in a "nice" WNY neighborhood....houses that are at least 50 years old. you can't live in all those, so why not live in 1 baller-status pad?
james - 03/23/09 13:11
I still wonder who would pay $1.73 Million for that. You could buy a city block in a nice neighborhood for that kind of cash.
tiburon1724 - 03/23/09 12:30
they're condos, for sale, if I remember correctly they begin around $315,000 for the smallest units and the huge ones go for around $1.2 million.
tinypliny - 03/23/09 00:39
Wow - those are fancy! I wonder what the price of those apartments are...

I was wondering about that thing … I've been working next door at New Era for the past few months. Very impressive.

i'm back hopefully
if I can remember to post that is. I was thinking how I never really do anything exciting to post about, but then I thought back and realized there actually are a lot of things I could have posted about! So we'll see. I wanted to at least remind people I exist as I see there's a party coming up. I hope to attend if all goes to plan, this way maybe as many won't be like..."who the hell are you again?" this way lol.
tinypliny - 03/19/09 18:25
Dammit. I will miss this party. I am headed to Rochester tomorrow morning.

Maybe some other time then.... Have a good party!
metalpeter - 03/18/09 19:04
Hi Steve

I thought the 2nd one was pretty good. It seems like a long time ago though. Not sure If I liked the first or second one better. One of these days I should look into getting them and watch them both together.
tiburon1724 - 03/18/09 18:56
real name's Steve. I did get Death Note 2 from Netflix recently and watched it at least :)
metalpeter - 03/18/09 18:43
I remember you went to first Death Note Movie I think and then we missed you at the 2nd one. But the funny thing is I forgot your name. I'll just check your profile. You should go to the Party it would be a good way to re connect with some (e:peeps) I can't say who will be there but maybe even meet some new people.

procrastination
i've been missing in action a while now I guess. No real reason really, just like everything else. I was doing really well going to the gym regularly and all that fell apart, haven't been for a couple months now!!! Haven't done much of the tons of work I want to get done on my house, and today while watching the Bills game I meant to do some xmas wrapping but to no avail as I was too drawn into watching live fantasy updates....then went drinking. There goes my day off. I need an anti procrastinationist or something...someone to hit me with a taser when I'm being unproductive maybe?

Iron Man on Blu-Ray:
Category: movies
Hell yes. That is all.
tinypliny - 10/01/08 20:40
Eh? Eh.
tiburon1724 - 09/30/08 23:06
That's really weird. They've been including "digital copies" with more and more releases. This seems a much more viable route to stick with.
paul - 09/30/08 22:53
Not only is it out on Blu-ray, I saw that now they are starting to pre-load movies with laptops and it is the first one :::link:::
