Party at my place!
Saturday night my boyfriend and I threw a last minute party at our place. There was plenty of food and booze (I typed 'fooze' before correcting), and great company including (e:hodown).

Pistachio Cleavage
(e:hodown) reenacts the famous Pistachio incident of 2009.

(as told by her Facebook status on January 29, "Jessica Ho was just told that she has a pistachio shell in her cleavage... by a Managing Director.")

Dear estrip,
Why must you distort our profile pictures so?
I fear you will judge me a pinhead should I post my real mug.
Warmest Regards,
-The Cheese

So I decided to look at the Stats and in terms of views I'm 3rd (e:lilho) is 2nd and (e:Paul) is 1st. If that is the stat I assume everyone is going by. One stat that would be interesting to know is How many average viewes per journal. You take the views and divide my the number of posts. Just an Idea for the new version when ever it comes out.
hodown - 03/14/09 00:09
What about my blog? I'm your sister and I'm trying to climb to #1.

  • I'd pout if (e:businesscheese) wasn't so rad.
  • Also she has the best fashion ever. Srsly.
  • Carolyn you make the best dresses. Don't worry I heart you too!
lilho - 03/13/09 23:52
yours is my fav new blog!
metalpeter - 03/13/09 19:33
Like (e:paul) said if it isn't about that size the picture will get distored. I don't know about how your camera works but some cameras have a setting that will make your picture smaller. Here is another trick if your camera doesn't do that. Take a picture of your self from a distance in what ever the smallest picture size is that way you get a lot of background. Then with picture software crop all of that stuff out AND THAT WILL MAKE the picture smaller. Yes you can reduce the size using software but that often makes the picture kinda blurry.
businesscheese - 03/13/09 14:51
Thanks Paul!
I guess I should bother to change it now that the complaint department has resolved my issue.
paul - 03/13/09 13:13
Just upload a picture that is 125px wide by 150px high and it will not distort.
james - 03/13/09 12:17
I love Pinhead. Too bad the other Hellraiser movies were awful.
joshua - 03/13/09 12:09
IMO it has to do with Paul's draconian image management rules!! (Only kidding....)

I post my face in my profile picture - I think if you want to avoid the distortions you have to be fairly precise about the size of the picture.
businesscheese - 03/13/09 11:27
Meep meep. You're right. Beaker is cute even with a distorted head.
jason - 03/13/09 11:09
Oh, who doesn't like Beeker? Meep

e:hodown is the best
Jessica arrived at Ladies night last night equipped with hand-stuffed Gorgonzola olives for our martinis. See photographic proof.
image
We first sipped martinis over delicious Kobe beef sliders, mussels, and French bread at a bistro near her office. Then headed to the Grace Hotel in Times Square for subsequent rounds of cocktails. I basically hate Times Square, but this particular bar has a $7 martini happy hour and a swim up bar so I made an exception.
image
We finished off the evening with wine at the super creepy Night Hotel.
image
Then on the way home, I got locked on a subway car before waiting 45' for a replacement train. When I finally got to my apartment I ate an entire box of cereal before going to bed. Barbara's Peanut Butter Puffins are so delicious. Self control is for suckers!
hodown - 03/14/09 00:12
(e:josh). shut it. they are delicious and you will love them too.

(e:lilho) really? leotards? there's a reason the word "tard" in in leotard. Just sayin..
lilho - 03/13/09 23:50
this blog is one of the reasons i consider you a life influence... but i still like leotards.
joshua - 03/05/09 15:56
(e:hodown) you are obsessed with those olives! I've never had a stuffed olive before so I have no idea what I'm missing.

(e:biz) - Kobe beef sliders sound great. It almost gives me optimism that there wouldn't be any "sliding" going on afterwards, given the quality of the meat. I've passed by the Puffins 100 times (they always seem to be on sale at the co-op). It's taken me 20 years to redevelop the roof of my mouth from its previous rawhide consistency after eating Capt. Crunch.
james - 03/05/09 13:51
1) Gorgonzola stuffed olives make me wet.
2) Puffins make me dry. Thank god for milk.

This prolonged winter thing NYC has going on is bullshit and I would like to go on vacation. Here's a recap of past trips both near and far.

Do any of you have any interesting trips on the horizon so I can travel vicariously through you?

I love these pictures! Now I want to go to all these places!
james - 03/04/09 21:00
I lived in Albany for two years and I don't think I ever saw that. Crazy.
metalpeter - 03/04/09 17:48
There are so many places I would like to go, but often unless you know someone who lives there it get costly very quickly. That thing you showed is in Chicago and I would like to go there. I don't see how I could now but I thought going there to see a Blackhawks game would be cool. If I have heard right they get Broadway shows like how other big cities do.
businesscheese - 03/04/09 09:23
I know! WTF is it?
paul - 03/03/09 23:06
That thing in Albany looks like a nuclear silo.
hodown - 03/03/09 16:38
I don't feel bad for you. My most recent vacation was to Buffalo. Actually- come to Buffalo!! It would be totes fun AND you could visit Niagara Falls- it's one of the 7 natural wonders of the world.
