Kuni's is no longer next door to me - that's what I mean by loss.

Loss of Kuni's? It's on Lexington.

Too bad about the Sushi bar, although it seems they just didn't have their shit together.
And the bagel place - when it was Manhattan Bagel I remember it being pretty popular. I used to go get a toasted bagel with lox.
Man, my block is barren now. Let's face it, after Kuni's went away, Buffalo didn't have an appetite for other sushi. I still mourn the loss of Kuni's.
I wonder what will go in Kibarashi's place? It is a pretty small property.

Wow, that parade was moving fast!!
Sorry to see the sushi place go under. Along with the bagel place, that block is starting to look a little desolate. Spot's expansion ain't going to counter that.

kibirashi will always have a special place in my heart. It's the restaurant where we sat and ate dinner and decided to buy our house. It was an exciting night.
I'm sorry it's owned by a jerk.

Alhough i hate to see another Elmwood strip business close, the guy that owns (owned?) kibirashi is a scumbag. I work with someone who USED to work for him as well. He stopped paying his staff and owes them, well, at least one employee, for 2 months of wages. Serves the bastard right.

Vote Tomorrow!Category: politics
Primary day is tomorrow. Won't you feel better after you've voted? If you're a Democrat your voice is actually heard for once in the Presidential primary, since everything is still up in the air.
dcoffee - 02/04/08 23:39
Yep, in NYS primaries are more important than the general election, since the Electoral College makes us a "blue state" tomorrow's vote is the one that matters most.
My voting policy, If there is any election where you don’t have a candidate you believe in, show up and vote third party as a protest. Voting third party is a strong statement, staying home is not.
mrdeadlier, you vote for Ron Paul is definitely not lost, take your party back.

I still need to drag three more people to the polls to vote for Obama.
I will buy you a drink for it. And I will have you know there is great historical precedent for buying a vote with a drink. It is an especially honored tradition in New York. So come on!
