Next: e:strip dinner, February Edition
Category: estrip
I'm going to set up another (e:strip) dinner for the middle of February. Possibly anti-Valentine's Day themed!

Proposed dates and time are in the comments of this post.

Please post any scheduling conflicts or ideas for locations here, and I'll try to best select a date that is good for the most people and does not occur during a sporting event. Whew.

Chime in!

Fridays are tough, everything else is cool
james - 01/31/08 21:19
My vote is for either Feb 7-10 or the 22nd or the 23rd ^_~

The 15th sounds ducky.
jim - 01/31/08 21:01
My vote is for Friday February 15 at 7pm.

I'll be gone from Feb 7-10, and also I think on the 22nd or 23rd.

You have to dress up for work?
jason - 01/31/08 19:28
You look tired in this photo. You have had a long week. I'm jealous that you actually get to wear normal clothes to work.
jim - 01/31/08 19:11
Frickin lame, spent another hour today fixing IE6 stuff.

Just so ugly and what a waste of time.

Glad to be home working today :P
Just as well I was at Roswell on Monday, it means I can hide inside today and work from home on my other project.

Now, just hoping the power stays up!
jim - 01/30/08 10:34
Mmmm... bacon. Yes, please!
james - 01/30/08 10:11
well, now that I walked the dog and made you your coffee I guess I will trudge through the weather and bring home the bacon.

All Good Things

Well, I found out I have a full time contract position for almost twice as much money as I'm making now, not part time like I'd thought in my last post about buying a house.

Good news: I have a new awesome job doing Ruby stuff all day!

Bad news: I am abandoning everyone at Roswell :(

jim - 01/29/08 16:20
Fixed my insensitivity. If you weren't off sick I woulda remembered...
jim - 01/29/08 16:18
Thanks to you and Paul of course, I should forget.

You guys at Roswell will find some really awesome programmer to replace me, don't worry. You'll end up glad I'm gone :)
enknot - 01/29/08 16:06
And me too you insensitive jerk!

J/K, Good luck man! I'm glad u and Bill found each other. Hopefully the two of u will get rich beyond your wildest dreams.
museumchick - 01/29/08 14:38
Congratulations on the position!

The American Dream

I want to buy a house so freaking bad.

I just found out I am going from 20 hours a week to 30 hours a week for one of my contracts, which is an extra huge chunk of money every month, and so home ownership this year is looking like a great possibility. It also seems like I'll be staying in Buffalo for a few years at least, if James can get a job around here too.

I can't wait to move back closer to or into Allentown. Seriously sick of the Elmwood Village - I miss the grime and dirt!

Grime and Dirt? I think you meant Culture and Class! :) Congrats on the new job!
