I updated the mini userpics that show when you are online to reflect the number of journals you have to the nearest 50 always rounding down.
So, say you have 57 journals it will say 50+
The other two increments are "<10 blogs" for new users with less than ten journals and 25+ for those who haven't quite reached 50 yet but want to feel special too.
Get your own (e:strip) regal title!
If you also want to have a custom title show across the top of your minipic, you can buy one by donating to the estrip paypal account by clicking on Donate above the minipics to the right of the latest entries list. Money goes toward site maintenance and thinks like hardware, domain names renewals, software updates, and general upkeep.
You can also earn titles
Like (e:jim) who is currently the 3rd most popular journal on the site this month (via view count), hence "bronze metal."

Another changeCategory: update
I updated it further so that the meta description of each journal page is the first 100 characters of the the text of the journal stripped of text bling and that the author is your username and a link to your journal. This should raise individual author ranking on google.

You journal title is now your page titleCategory: update
Whenever you visit a specific journal on the site, the journal's title is now the title of the page. This should make for better search engine optimization and just make it look cooler.

e:name and punctuation play niceCategory: bug fix
So I finally had a good half hour to fix some stuff that has been bothering me. Yesterday it was the comments popping out the bottom pf the journal text area and today I finally fixed the stupid punctuation with e name link problem.
Now I can say things like, "Damn I am so jealous of (e:paul,40879)'s lobster dinner last night." and not have to worry about the apostrophe.
Same with listing off peeps such as in the sentence "I wish I could be as gay as (e:matthew), (e:paul) and (e:terry)!"

Simple Bug FixCategory: bugfix
I meant to fix this bug for months but I always forget. It took like 4 seconds once I looked into it. the comments no longer pop out the bottom of the journal entry area when they are really long. You may have never even noticed this but it was stressing me out.
50+ wow! i haven't updated my paypal account in years... i'll have to look into that...
Theecarey and I were gold and siler winners but we already had titles.
who are the gold and silver medal winners??
Oh, hell, 5 grand, that's right, that goofy Brit actually tried to say that there would be some competition for that one, yeah? I'd bet his phone is just ringing off the counter with people trying to snap it up at that price.
In that case I would like to use this forum to make an announcement.
500 years ago, when George Washington first crossed the Atlantic and discovered America he stood at Plymouth Rock and spake "I have a dream! That someday I may be president and we will have Thanksgiving and Christmas" Well, that dream continues today. Which is why I am starting the "Friends of (e:james) Helping to Get Him the Title of Paul Visco" fund and research centre.
won't you give generously?
$5000, the exact price of buying estrip.com from the evil overlords.
How much would I have to donate to get the title "Paul Visco"?
