Cabaret Review
So I went to that newish restaurant Cabaret across from Sheas on Pearl Street. It was really good. They have like cheap stuff like salads and burgers and wings and fingers and pricer like meals up to like $30 almost. But we just got the less pricey fare and it was really good. I had a southwestern soup which was super dupa good and then we split the stuffed peppers which were quite hot and I think gave my stomach quite a night that night. But anywho, for the main course I had a PIttsburgh salad which is an amazing invention. It is a salad, with steak and french fries and like cheddar cheese on it and this Rivera dressing. It was a great invention. LIke it makes french fries seem healthy, what's better than that? They have a lot of good things on their I menu I bet. It isn't too fancy but not supa dupa trashy either. A nice in the middle.

And the waitress was amazing and fun. She really seemed real and nice but not overly fake nice. All in all it was a great experience, I would go back and I definetely recommend it!!! I paid with a credit card but gave her a pretty good cash tip cuz she was super good and I always have heard that is better so they don't have to declare it all or something, and she was like "thanks, cash tip, thats awesome, you're the best" It seemed weird for her to talk about the tip but it made her all the better. Like so real and good!!!

I'm starting to post a random picture from the past with each entry! Who doesn't miss that spoon?! This picture makes it look so big - as big as (e:terry)!!!

Letdown City
I am home right now at 1 am and am not happy about it. I would have actually been home even earlier had I not driven around for a little while hoping something fun would come up. This weekend after my physics test I was just in a party mood and I looked good the last two days if I do say so myself , and you know how when you look good you just want to be out and be seen by as many people as is possible so they can all worship your good looks. Well anywho, (e:beast) is my usual friday night party partner but she is in Scotland this week. So (e:mk) , (e:terry) and (e:matt) headed out last night but it was kind of low key not the crazy party I was looking for. Then today I ended up sitting around my house most of the afternoon (ok that is my own lazy fault) and then I went to Big Lots and Wendy's with (e:mk) which was actually quite fun. I love Big Lots, Wendys and filling out comment cards ridiculously with (e:mk) (Wendys=Jesus and I want to kill the Burger King)! Anywho then tonight we all went to see Black Snake Moan which was really good but then I was in a going out mood but noone else was. I just was not ready to be home but had nowhere else to go. I drove around and then came home and now am sitting here. Its not that I had a bad weekend , like everything I did was fun , it just wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I just want to be out and having a crazy ol' time. Maybe next week!

mk - 03/04/07 08:20

mk - 03/04/07 08:20
i look hot in panties
jenks - 03/04/07 07:42
Don't you hate that?? There are plenty of nights when I'm totally happy to stay in and do nothing. But then sometimes there are those nights I really really want to go out, like GO OUT- and no one else does. I hate that.

Maybe you and Ingrid should go out and look fabulous together. :)

Gogurt and Ellen
So I was watching Ellen doing stand up on comedy central the other day. She is hilarious. Like just seriously funny. I think too of my favorite parts were when she was talking about how lazy people have become and her two examples were: (It might not come across as funny typed here but I hope it does cuz it was hilarious)

-she was talking about breath strips and was like "really, we've become that lazy that a breath mint is too much work. I've had a long day at work I just wish I didn't have to use all that energy sucking on a breath mint and it just takes so long. Just put on my tongue , i'm too tired"

the other one was super hilarious she was talking about Gogurt (the portable yogurt for those on the go). She was like " i was never aware yogurt was holding so many people back from the life they wanted to have. That really it was so time consuming it was keeping people from getting anything done. She then pretends to answer the phone and is like

"yeah, hi Tom'
"um, no , i don't think I'll be able to go see a moive tonight"
"No, I just opened a yogurt so its gonna be a while"
"no, not even a later one, its a yogurt with fruit on the bottom. You know how that is. I think I'm in for the night"
"yeah maybe next week"

ok neither of those sounds that funny here but it was hilarious and you should watch her standup!

Marching Towards Failure
I'm on my way to my second physics exam (FROM 7-9 pm tonight. How ridiculous is that to have an exam at 7pm on Friday night when it is not a night class!!! grr) Anywho, hopefully I do slightly better than last time since these people are so friggin smart and ruining the curve I was hoping for. Seriuosly if I do bad I am afraid I might have to kiss pharmacy school, at least at UB, goodbye!
terry - 03/02/07 19:07
Friggin' ridiculous is right. I just had my test from 5-6PM tonight. WTF? Had to drive all the way to North Campus twice today (my class is at 9-10). I spent more time commuting than in the classrooms.
leetee - 03/02/07 18:44
You'll do well, (e:Mike)! I will be thinking of you, sending you good brain vibes... GOOD LUCK!!

Oh, and thanks for the good luck with my tests! :O)

Show time and the eyes have it
So lately I have been realizing I want to see more live theater and stuff cuz I enjoy that stuff a lot and there is a lot here in Buffalo and I don't go enough. So me and (e:mk) are making plans to see Tick Tick Boom and Spamalot and the musical at the highschool she teaches at (which includes a boy dressed as a dog playing Todo in the Wizard of Oz...how can you beat that....and for only $6 none the less!). So anyway there is lots of cheap and expensive theater around here to see but one thing I realized is I NEED TO GET GLASSES! I really can't see as I have said befroe but am too lazy to go get the eye test and pick out glasses. Glasses are so permanent. They seem scary to pick out a pair I will wear all the time. But really seeing all these things will be for nothing because I can't see anything unless I am right in front of the stge. Hopefully all these exciting shows awaiting me finally give me the incentive I need!

And I leave you with this random picture. Could I look any less interested and more annoyed by their adoration. I guess that is what happens when you are worshiped so frequently haha

metalpeter - 03/01/07 18:32
That picture is funny (e:beast) and (e:mk) are all into (e:mike) and he looks like "get away from me". Oh yeah thanks for reminding me about Spamalot I must go see a musical based off of a Monty Phython Movie that I somehow have never seen.
mk - 03/01/07 13:53
haha, get some freakin glasses! i'm so glad you needed the incentive of seeing shows and not the fact that you are putting our lives in danger everytime we get in the car with you.
