Wow. A whole lot better than what I can draw, that's for sure!
metalpeter - 02/12/07 19:23
It is preaty good. I can't speak to her motives but sometimes people who are very artistic have such a high standard that even if something looks verry good but they know they could have done a little bit better then they don't want someone to see it. Or sometimes something is good but some part of it dosn't look like how they wanted it to look or isn't what they where aiming for. That being said it looks verry good to me.
mrmike - 02/12/07 19:02
Awesome

Deinspiration #5
you know how your friends always say that they are SO sorry that theyve not been able to hang out, but that they've been so tied up with work, kids, projects, etc that they have not had a free moment, to call, write, email or visit you?

well, YVONNE, they lied.

as busy as they appear to be, they still manage to see all of their other friends, family, coworkers, neighbors etc. they say this to you, YVONNE, because in reality they don't really like you all that much and don't really have any desire to be around you, because...well....youre rather annoying. but you already knew this, right?

museumchick - 02/08/07 10:34
I love these deinspiration posts...
knife - 02/07/07 16:57
damn, remind me not to deinspire you.
ladycroft - 02/07/07 13:12
we could have hung out but you said you only had room for one friend in your life.
vycious - 02/07/07 00:14
wow, thats a good one.

shopping at work
who ever thought that allowing roswell employees to pay for purchases bought at the gift shop by payroll deduction was a good idea, was crazy.
you can apparently purchase $200 worth of stuff and have it withdrawn from your paycheck in 4 payments.

this would not be a problem had they not had a gift shop full of vera bradley bags and accessories. tons and tons of different kinds of bags. all shapes and sizes.

i thought it would be nice if i had a new bag for paris.

image

and then i saw the matching scarf and thought about how nice it would look with my new purse. i would look like a travel goddess......

image

but only if i had a matching watch....

image

and this cute pair of earings.

image

and $160 dollars later, all i can think about is how cute my travel outfit will look next week when i sit my ass in the cushy, first class seat to paris!!!
imk2 - 02/06/07 06:44
I had such high hopes for that movie before it came out. I, myself, was a flight attendant at that time, and was hoping that that movie would be not cheesy.

I just want to make it clear, that I CANNOT afford to fly first class. however, because I was a flight attendant and was laid off, I got a plush furlogh package that included lifetime flight privilages for me and my family. I also got 2 years of paid medical benefits, which are now long gone. so anytime faben and I , or my parents want to fly we can do so for free in coach or for $150 in first class. this is also the reason I can afford to go to paris for practically a long weekend, since all I have to do is pay for a fairly inexpensive hotel and bring a little spending money. I did the 8 day trip to china (for faben and i) for $400 total.
lilho - 02/06/07 00:38
umm, im basically extremely jealous. paris-first class, reminds me of that cheesy movie, "view from the top".
theecarey - 02/05/07 18:25
ooh pretty, its all so pretty!!

authentic papayan
we went to papaya's a few weeks ago for some truly authentic papayan food. if you've never had authentic papayan food before, you'll be surprised to know that you can only get in on chippewa st. in buffalo in the united states in north america on the western hemisphere. the universe must have hated me and only me that day because it served me salt on my crème brulee instead of sugar.

here is the waiter firing up the brulee, topped with salt.

image

and this is my entee and jenks'. I would have thought they would have given the dessert for free after making me taste that nasty salty brulee, but those cheap bastards didn't bother. I'm not going there again, especially since I left my wallet there and called once I realized that and asked if they could check around the table and they didn't even bother checking the floor. they did finally call 2 days later saying that it was found on the floor. um....isn't that the first place you look when someone tells you they left their wallet on the table and it isn't there?

metalpeter - 02/03/07 17:37
I was going to try that place one day but it looked to fancy for me. On a side note if they messed up your dinner and you let them know about it don't order anything else. 2 Reasons for that. If they are insulted then they may do something to your food. Second reason is that by getting something else you are sending them the message that what they did was ok. The best thing to do is once all the food gets there and if something dosn't taste right and you know it is wrong bring it up to the waitress and don't pay for it and don't send it back.
