I'm as ugly as I seem!
Mmmm, the year is winding down folks, and I'm trying my best to think of ways to make 2006 stellar. I've set out to fulfill some resolutions which include doing more painting, playing more music, and winning my personal wars!

There are so many people out there that I want to meet and want to talk to and well, I think the time's come to make that happen! I can't say that I'll develop meaningful relationships with all of them or stay in touch as much as I'd like to, but there's no harm in trying, right?

Well, I'm going to say goodbye, and hopefully some people will leave me some love!

Ev'rybody had a hard year
Ev'rybody had a good time
Ev'rybody had a wet dream,
Ev'rybody saw the sunshine
Oh yeah, Oh yeah.
Ev'rybody had a good year,
Ev'rybody let their hair down,
Ev'rybody pulled their socks up,
Ev'rybody put their foot down.
Oh yeah, Oh yeah.

Stay (Faraway so close)
Sometimes when I can't sleep, I imagine that I'm sinking into the earth, through all the dirt and sand and soil and I just keep sinking even past the rocks and animal skeletons and it's amazing. I imagine there are people above me yelling things, shouting for me to come back up to listen to what they have to say, but I can't hear them or I just choose to ignore them because I want them all to go away and let me sink, and so that's what I do. I feel really content in my sunken sanctuary, away from everyone else and all the noise and nonsense. The only things I hear are my breath and the sound of the blood coursing through my head. I close my eyes and I see black. I open my eyes and I see black. It's really neat, believe me. It's usually after about five minutes of this eye opening and closing underground that I fall asleep.

Hmm. That drawing is interesting. You should click on my journal overview and tap into the entry title 'affirmation'. I think you might like it.

DIG IT!
Like a rolling stone
A like a rolling stone
Like the FBI and the CIA
And the BBC--BB King
And Doris Day
Matt Busby
Dig it, dig it, dig it
Dig it, dig it, dig it, dig it, dig it, dig it, dig it, dig it

[That was 'Can You Dig It' by Georgie Wood.
And now we'd like to do 'Hark The Angels Come'.]

And your bird can sing!
So I'd just like to say hello! Exams are over and I'm happy. I've finally got some time to just paint and play guitar to my heart's content and that's thoroughly amazing! I've been having fantastic ideas don't you know! O, and I've been getting into all sorts of new music, like early nineties U2 and Warren Zevon, and some older Tom Petty and Paul McCartney's first few solo discs and well, it's great! Thought I'd chime in with that folks! Be good!

It's as though you're saying to someone, "This is who I am, take it or leave it, and they all decide to leave it".
