Tomorrow we are having it inspected. If everything goes right you may find yourself at a party inside of it soon.

Where on earth did you get that picture!
Best of luck with la casa.
leetee - 05/15/06 19:19
Good Luck with the inspection!

I used to walk past that house regularly. And we could see it from our bedroom windows when we were in the apartment.

I hope this house is everything that you, Matthew and Terry want!
dcoffee - 05/15/06 19:17
Looks great Paul! Hope all goes well.
metalpeter - 05/15/06 19:13
I wish you the best of luck with that.

Mother's Day Extravaganza
Category: food
My mother seriously outdid the last three mother's days. While waiting for the food to be ready I caught this on TV. A show called Po vs Connie where Husband and Wife duo Maurey Povich and Connie Chung do a liberal vs conservative schtick. What is the world coming to.

image

There was also a variety of new reality Television shows including Shalomn in the Home and some other show about the life of a family of dwarves. You would think the reality televsion bubble has got to burst soon.

I thought last years mother's day had the most food possible (e:paul,3303) but this year she had 5 kinds of meat. I wonder when I look back at the data after world war three what I will think of the excess we have now.

Old anger revisited
After looking around last year May on my journal, I realized how much my life has changed for the better. I went from the most unhappy time in my life to being satisiied with just about every aspect. I hope that it makes those of you who are unhappy now realize how much your world can change. I realized I truly hated this time last year and I am so glad those days are over. Nonna died, I had no money, and I didn't get the job that I thoughtwas my dream job. Now I have a job I love so much, awesome coworkers and money to buy a house. I really hate the fact that I doubted the future then.

I blame my unhappiness on working with too many old people whose talent had either dried up or who never had any. Looking back I realize now that Canisius was really holding me back on every level. I guess that is what happens when you work with mediocracy for too long - it just makes you complacent. I truly feel sorry for students that waste their money on that lame digital media program.

does this mean that this time next year ill be way less of a bitch. i find myself yelling at people all the time for no apparent reason. my life sucks right now. well, when it comes to jobs and such, otherwise, i'm pretty lucky. being poor sucks. im po'. aw snap.
leetee - 05/15/06 09:36
Your mom must really love to cook. Not that mine does now (my dad is chief cook and bottle washer now), but back when she did, her mother's day always included a day in which she didn't have to cook. Not one that she made a huge meal...

I am very happy for you, Paul. Glad for you that you are happy with your life. Yay!
kara - 05/15/06 08:00
That is a serious amount of food.
mike - 05/15/06 01:14
how are we not fat? Three meat holidays used to be the norm, will five meat holidays put us over the edge?

Ants and Gas
Category: on the go
Ants like to eat eggs apparently. They had a kitchen full of stuff to eat including some fruit the squirrels left behind and they chose the eggs.

Gas prices are so high.

words of mansion, thesis and food
Category: housing
Well at least we put a bid in on one. We made an offer and seeing as we are the only people who have an offer in, I think we are buying it.

We ate at jimmy mac's with (e:robin). I know I have posted a hundred pics of these burgers but I finally, I have a comparison of something to the size of the chesseburger and it' (e:robins) head.

Afterwards I went to Julie Perini's thesis show. I really enjoyed her dance and reverse order food ordering videos. The show setup was great to. I had not been over to the Big Orbit Gallery on Essex Street before.

Man, I could kill myself for not having handed in my thesis. I had edited it a bit but then (e:shawnr) had his thesis drama and it freaked me out.

Hey Paul,
Hope all has been well with you and your job. I wanted to let you know that my coding experience that I gained from your class helped me get a job at Datatel, formely known as LiquidMatric, in the development department. Other students in the dma program have been asking a few of us where we learned to make such cool web sites when compared to their photoshop sliced sites and we all get to credit you and the advanced programming class. A few of us have also been wondering how Hour720 is coming along. And finally, as I am now phone shopping, could you tell me what model you have? I remember is being cool and computer-like, but not huge like some other pda-type phones.
Thanks!
