heloise, are you there?Category: nostalgia
While eating my delicious quarter chicken diner lunch at Roswell today, I found a good housekeeping magazine on the table.

It reminded me of everything I learned from Heloise as a child. Is she even in the magazine anymore?
I wasn't brave enough to touch a used hospital magazine while eating.
UPDATE - Wow, I just looked her up and of course she has her own web site now
now. Do you think if Heloise thinks it's okay to use the marquee tag that i could get away with it. It works in firefox now too.

Basically, a fun day of listening to kimya and programming to cure cancer.
My dermatology photo sample tagger, viewer, editor is coming along nicely. Don't worry not real patient data, just some images from google.

I love Good Housekeeping! I think not having a subscription is one thing I will miss most when I move out of my parents house!

I love Heloise! I just had to call my mom like three weeks ago to ask her how to get burnt plastic off my iron - she headed straight for her Heloise book. **BTW, you turn on your iron to get it warm, and rub it with a cloth damp with vinegar!

Murder She WroteCategory: television
Does anyone remember this show? We were jusrt saying how much we all loved it, yet I don't remember anyone talking about it since back when it was on.

No, no, no. Murder She Wrote is only as cool as Matlock. If you love MSW, then you must love the Mat. And I ain't got no love for no senior citizen shows from the 1980s. Nope. I'm cold like that.

Wow, squirrel boners. I used to watch Murder, She Wrote with my mom when I was a kid. I think I used to like it mostly because I liked watching TV with mom. I always thought it was weird that people kept inviting her for book signings even when it meant somebody was going to get offed.
As a young nerdling I thought it was funny that at the beginning of the show's run, the opening credits showed her writing her manuscripts on a classic Underwood typewriter, but by the time they got cancelled she was using a crappy electronic Brother word processor.

Squirrels Babies Soon, We eat foodCategory: food
I was in such a bad mood this morning. I wasn't sure if it was that I tried to look at my sad thesis or because I didn't go sidewalk chalking last night to get new people on the site. It has been so long since I worked on my thesis that at the time we only had like 200MB/day of data being viewed. Now it is over a gigabyte on most days.

We brought the squirrels outside for a little bit with the tortoise. He is so hungry for the hay in the backyard. The squirrels liked it to. When I pulled them out o fthe pouch, the boy squirrel had a boner. It was the weirest looking penis - really long and skinny. Skinny like only a couple millimeters across but like an inch long. I think that babies are soon to follow - I guess it is spring afterall. I cannot imagine how cute the babies will be.
We also went to the coop and bought a lot of vegtables. Elmwood was alive with people. In fact (e:terry) mentioned it was as bumping as a shopping plaza in phoenix.

These organic mini oranges are so flavor packed and only 10 cents each. Something must be wrong with them.

I decided to make mini Buffalo brugers and shrimp. Who would ever think that such diverse animals could taste so right together. Thank you oregano and garlic.

I think that the non-bag style natural salad is much crunchier than the bag one. I used to think the bag one was quicker but honestly, you have to wash it and dry it anyways so what the hell is the difference. I am done with the bags.

I still can't believe the house we were gonna buy on Linwood was already bought. They go so damn fast.

WalkieBits at dynamismCategory: toys
I don't know if any of you have ever been to dynamism.com
but it's an interesting site. They basically sell Japanese stuff before it makes it to america. Right now they have these cute little robtoic turtles that can walk around you desk and learn sound patterns from you. I love crap like that.
