So two people asked me for my autograph today! So as many of you know I have been doing presentations all over Western New York at senior centers, senior apts, church groups, bingo games, you name it, anywhere seniors hang out I have been talking about the new Medicare Prescription Coverage and trying to answer people's questions. Well today at the one apartment building the people really loved me and all told me how great I was afterwards and that all I loved me and two of the old ladies, I belive one said she was 95 asked me for my autograph. One said "i really think you are going to be someone someday, and I want to have your autograph" or something like that. Alzheimers? maybe...but it still felt good

It's Been A WhileOk by a while I mean it has prolly been a few days, but for me that is a long time not to post. I am becoming an old man. I honestly read in bed and go to bed by like midnight every weeknight. Well this week I did. I am trying to get myslef into a routine so I am not so tired all the time. Like sleep more during the week and then just enjoy the weekends extra more instead of just haphazardly staying up all the time and then being exhausted all the time. I am also trying to wake up even earlier before work so I can eat breakfeast and exercise. I've gotten upo early enough to eat a quickb reakfeast or at least grab something to go but haven't mastered waking up early enough to exercise in the morning yet. Hmm how weird that I found time to eat more but not to work out. Other than that life has been pretty good....too much work though....last night we watched Wizard of Oz and The WEdding Singer. THose are some great movies I haven't seen in a really long time. It was at a poker game night but me, jill and jeff decided not to play poker and watch tv/movies instead. It was fun....tonight lilho graduation celebration and maybe Beatlemania though I wish beatlemania was not out in east jehungaville and so I could do both the party and the beatlemania more easily!

Hootie ManiaSo yesterday was mine and (e:jill)'s lucky day! I am at work when what does my boss Patty say to me, those magic words every person is dying to hear "do you want free tickets to go see Hootie and the Blowfish tonight?" After squealing with delight and rolling on the ground, I immediately called Jill and got the confirmation that she too was up for this night of excitement!!! Ok so really we were never the biggest Hootie fans but it sounded like it could be fun. We pumped ourselves up by listneing to their tape on the way to the show. Well needless to say afterwards I felt terribly sorry for both Hootie and the Blowfish. First of all there were about 200, maybe 300 people tops. And from the looks of it maybe 20 people actually paid for their tickets. I decided to look up info on Hootie and there album, Cracked Rear View circa 1994 is the 8th highest selling album of all time. And now they play to a crowd of 200 free fans in Buffalo. Oh wait I almost forgot to mention where they played....
The Statler Golden Ballroom. It was so random. It was carpeted and had fancy chandaliers and there was Hootie trying to rock out. It was completely odd. Though me and Jill did get within a foot of touching the Hoot himself because they walked in right next to where we were standing (along the side of the room whrere you and all the other people that were not really interested were sitting).
Oh and the opening. What an opening. Good old Darius himself quoted some bible passage about like a wrath down on earth but replaced the word God or devil or whatever it said in the bible with Hootie and the Blowfish. It was classic!!!!
Needless to say I got some kind of sickness last night threw up and we left and i was sick for the rest of the night. I like to think it was because of my deep compassion for how far Hootie has fallen but I think it might have been bad tuna.

I think it was bad planning by Hootie personaly. First of all the statler ballroom is a new venue for concerts. But More importantly they have been in area lately. If I remember correctly they did a free show this summer as part of the Canal Concert series. If memory serves me right They Played at the rsort Casino in Niagara Falls. Stained is going there. But to out to the falls in the winter and cross the boarder then come home at night in that frigid weather would be a pain. But my point is if you saw them for free this summer why pay to see them now. I like them but didn't go, I forgot when they where coming.

Blind Date: UncensoredSo I wish this post was about a crazy blind date I went on and you could have the behind the scenes uncensored look at it but alas it is about the video me, (e:jill) and jen rented tonight. We rented Blind Date: Uncnesored: Dates from Hell and Freaks and Weirdos. Frankly, it was dissappointing. You don't know how long we have waited to rent it because it is always out of stock. It was really a let down. I would say most of the situations were really no worse or crazier than the ones that make it on tv. Actually I had seen some of the footage on tv. That is ridiculous. Basically it was just the same as tv with a few f words thrown in. I'm not saying it wasn't entertaining just not nearly as good as I had hoped.
Today I had to run an Eckerd booth for a health fair at the JCC on Delaware in Buffalo. Our intern Bonnie went with me thank god because otherwise it would have been terribly awfully boring. I believe from 9-2 we had about umm like 30 people tops and mostly those were people from the other booths who were also bored and wandered over to us. Thankfully me and Bonnie can entertain ourselves but it still dragged by sooo slow. I can't wait for all this Medicare stuff to be over. Unfortunately some lady asked for our information cuz she is running a few health fairs in the next couple months and wants us there. I JUST WANT IT TO BE OVER!!!
P.S. Ladycroft I am not mad at you. Ditto for you Paul. I was just mad last night and overly tired!!
P.P.S. Paul, I don't really hope that you die, no matter what I texted you yesterday

I'm glad :) You know I am so grateful. But I bet Blind Date Uncensored didn't suck a fraction as much as Dracula 3000!!! WTF was that!?

Out On The TownLast night me and a few (e:strip)pers, namely (e:tina), (e:lilho), (e:terry), (e:flacidness) went out to Soundlab to hear some DJ. It was 13 bucks and like all he did was play songs that are not even that uncommon straight out. Like no mixing or doing whatever it is that DJ's do. It was a lot of fun but not worth $13. Maybe $5 but it was still fun. We saw (e:rachel) there which is always a good time! Then after an argument about who is most in desperate need of a date, we went to Essex St. Pub. The hotness that is (e:tina) and (e:lilho) were adored by many men and left men drooling in their tracks. It must be hard for them to be so IRRESISTABLE! It would be better if i had a picture here for everyone to adore but alas I have none....maybe I'll find one of them and post it later. I on the other hand realized I am attracted to almost noone which I forsee in a problem in me trying to date...
