Christmas 2006 deathtroika
in keeping with the notion that famous people die in "threes" ("deathtroika"), who's next?

1. James Brown (Dec 25)

2. Gerald Ford (Dec 26)

and

3. ???

Well I just guessed that he would be hung before anyone else famous would die. In terms of ovechkin I didn't see the hit but what people need to remember is that I'm bigger then Biere so when a little guy gets hit of course he will get crushed. But you have to look at the hit itself not what happens after words. Again I didn't see the footage but isn't it dirtier to spike a guy in the groin with a hockey stick. The problem is you can't tell intent from watching hits and it is really all about intent. For example there was that fight and when the guys where on mic you heard them basicly say they where going to fight then they did, see there was no ill intent they had something they had to settle and they did that. Oh everytime you boo Ovechkin it just makes him more motivated and play better. He is really a good player and good for hockey, Hope you just leaves the dirty (or maybe presumed dirty hits behind him).

Damn, (e:metalpeter), you know how to pick em.
imk2 - 12/28/06 10:37
i'm not saying she should die, i'm just predicting she will.
chico - 12/27/06 21:18
Death seems a little harsh for Ovechkin, but he probably deserves to actually get injured for the the crying wolf and bellyaching. If you dish it out, you've got to be willing to take it.

Oprah?!
joshua - 12/27/06 20:54
I was secretly hoping for Alexander Ovechkin.

e:sighting?
At the downtown BAC tonight around 6:30 pm, I was on a treadmill next to someone who was a dead ringer for (e:jill) , but I assume it was just a case of my overactive imagination.
chico - 12/19/06 16:47
Eek! Glad I didn't say anything, haha.
mike - 12/18/06 22:19
unless (e:jill) secretly rejoined the BAC without me, I doubt it. We were members for like a month, but quickly realized exercise is just not our thing.

random cityscape pics from summertime
A random walk through some old subfolders turned up the 7.6 bazillion photos I took while apartment hunting in Buffalo over the summer. I was in the Elmwood area, the Gates Circle area, the little neighborhood north of the zoo, and knocking around Hertel... anyway, long story short, here's some of the pics. I'm not sure if it's because chica and I were drooling over snow tires on TireRack.com tonight, but I am finding all the summer foliage shots comforting.

It might not look like much now, but in about a week, I'm sure this garage off Gates Circle is going to look awfully tempting...
