hey (e:vycious), it was my overly indulgent "Freedom Essentials" plan. Because I'm antisocial, I like to have Caller ID, and to order that a la carte along with a baseline package puts the bill at about $33 before taxes, so I bit the bullet and spent the extra $6 for the FE (FU?) package, which includes unlimited long distance and other goodies. But this month Freedom Essentials went from 39.99 to 44.99 before taxes and FCC charges so now the grand total is over $60. OUCH. Don't know if the rate hikes apply to other calling plans or to the basic flat rate, sorry...

The reason that it doesn't work has to do with a patent lawsuit that forced microsoft to add a separate click activation to any external media plugin that displays "rich media" on a page and is embedded through html tags. The roll overs work if you hover over them and then click to activate first in IE. IE had to implement this when they lost a lawuit against Eolas. You can read more about it here :::link:::

To make this work you need to use rollovers that are not java applets. In fact I would say it is never a good idea to have your main navigation rely on external applications such as javas applets. If the user does not have java installe don their system, the links would just show up as blank boxes and there would be no way for them to reach your main navigation pages.

Basically each one of your rollovers is a separate java application embedded on the page. This also slows the rendering of the page down greatly. I would just drop the roll over all together and go with a simple css rollover.

To make it easy, I re-wrote and emailed the page for you as standard XHTML and included a graphic file image needed to make the buttons work as CSS rollovers. If you have any questions email me. You shoudl just be able to replace your page with the index.htm I sent you and include the bg.jpg file in your site folder with the other graphics you have. Once it is on there the pictures will show up.

Well I just guessed that he would be hung before anyone else famous would die. In terms of ovechkin I didn't see the hit but what people need to remember is that I'm bigger then Biere so when a little guy gets hit of course he will get crushed. But you have to look at the hit itself not what happens after words. Again I didn't see the footage but isn't it dirtier to spike a guy in the groin with a hockey stick. The problem is you can't tell intent from watching hits and it is really all about intent. For example there was that fight and when the guys where on mic you heard them basicly say they where going to fight then they did, see there was no ill intent they had something they had to settle and they did that. Oh everytime you boo Ovechkin it just makes him more motivated and play better. He is really a good player and good for hockey, Hope you just leaves the dirty (or maybe presumed dirty hits behind him).
