The orange room is now dehoarded. (E:paul) was going crazy. We have so many boxes of outdated electronics to recycle and twice as many books and stuff to goodwill. The boxes are the symptom of a capitalist dream. Boxes of boxes of electronics, their cords, and their successors smaller boxes. We left the books. We thought we should wait for (e:terry) to return from florida to review them.
There were many pictures of pre digital times to review including (e:Paul)'s old wet vegan passport. Isn't he cute? Both him and Terry had whole boxes from their youth. It's weird how geschictelos I feel. Most of my life took place in a post digital, pre backup age. there are no photo print outs, no letters, nothing of my teenage years. maybe somewhere in an encrypted file of AIM chats or on some NSA SMS archive. Thousands of junk shots but nothing to see. One day I will have to review what I have. I should probably (e:strip) better or I will never remember what life was really like. I don't Facebook anymore so at least it won't be sold back to me down the road.
I'm glad to have cleared space. After cleaning (e:Paul) wanted to go to Sato.

Medical records on AllenCategory: allentown
Paul and I were walking for a coffee and walked by all this shredded paper at the corner of Allen and Delaware. We looked through a few pieces and they turned out to be medical records. Lab results, orders, documents - we even found a write up for an employee.
I called the the number for a nearby medical office and apparently it probably ripped open when the recycler picked it up. I wonder how much in HIPPA violations this could have been?

FestivusCategory: family
Once again we celebrated festivus with my family, this time before (e:terry) flew to Florida. this time (e:xandra) joined us. We ate calzones and snickers, Seinfeld food.
(e:uchina) rest assured there was a lot of cheese.
BTW I AM STILL YELLING FROM THE AIRING OF GRIEVANCES. You must yell to be heard at these gatherings.
My family guilted me into joining the capitalism fest of Christmas coming up. They brought us beer from Wisconsin and a propane camping stove.
I swear it's not a cheapness thing for hating it. I hated it all the nonsense even when I didn't have a full time job.

Christmas is tough ... If you have a part time Job you don't have the money for it .. If you have a full time Job then you can buy stuff for your self so it loses its magic most of the time ..... So unless you have kids or like buy toys for Charity it is tough on a lot of people .......

Sameer and Jessica's weddingCategory: wedding
On Saturday we rode down to Sameers wedding with Jessica at the Pearl Street.
It got cray. The food was really good, and the couple very cute. And met some cool people.
I got chipcrunk with (e:terry) on the Pearl Street IPA and we tore up the dance floor with everyone (there may have been grinding involved).

Congrats to them both Looks like a great time .........

Besides compromising the privacy of patients and employees, what a mess. That seems very irresponsible for a medial office. They might try to pass the blame onto the recycler, but at the end of the day the medical office could have had better controls over this stuff. I know of offices that contract out to a vendor for shredding sensitive material but also require a manager from their own office to be present while the documents are destroyed to ensure proper handling.
