We went down to the botanical gardens again with (e:mike), (e:libertad) and (e:yesthatcasey). I always feel like I've taken pictures of everything there and posted them already but I took more anyway. It's hard not to.
I really liked the cacti this time. This one is actually really tiny but if you put your phone in the pebbles it's like you're in some sort of crazy desert.
Phallic cactus
Tiny drops all over the flower bud.
Paul got pricked somehow?
Bonsi tree
and the lieblings orchid.
The absolutely best part was Farmer's brown animal show (or whatever it was called) in the back shed.
Look at these buddies.
So freaking cute. I almost want a chicken now.
Goats on goats
At the end of the trip we went around to Lackawanna to go to Mulberrys. It was expensive but super delicious. Lackawanna is building a million new homes in the vacant burned out section near Bethlehem Steel. Why?

Spring cleaningCategory: house
(e:paul) and I cleaned out up the orange room for a spare bedroom and computer space. It was mega messy but it's pretty awesome now.
Afterwards we headed out to Wasabi for a sushi break.
Later that night we headed out with unhibernated (e:yesthatcasey), (e:libertad) and (e:mike) out to the gay bars. They were handing out waffles to advertise some gay fundraiser brunch, and (e:mike) thought it was a good time to tell his story about serving fingertip quiche.
At cathode, I thought this was going to be an ad for a gay gym but it sounds more like a bathouse. Same thing? It's also in Syracuse
At Funky Monkey I had a really strange conversation with the owner about how it used to be okay to drunk drive, and now people would rather drink at home if they can't find a way out to the bars without driving, and it wasn't good for business . I don't think he was advocating for drunk driving now but it seems insane to even think about.

Shopping with Mike and DaveCategory: shopping
On Saturday we headed back to the Broadway Market with (e:libertad) and (e:mike). This time I saw (e:paul) checking out a guy that turned out to be a former underwear model/Olympian my former crew coach.
I got a pierogi, it was pretty good.
Afterwards we headed over to Bed Bath and Beyond. It was mostly full of old lady junk and bullshit like this salt lamp (healing negative ions?) but we did get a discounted soap dish for the bathroom thanks to (e:mike).

Broadway Market with MasumiCategory: buffalo
The morning after we headed out to the Broadway market with (e:uchina). It was pretty bumpin. A lot of the food seemed good but a there was a whole bunch of grandmay knick knacks. Signs telling you to stay out of "mom's cave" etc. We got some treats and really amazing tangelos that were a fifth of the coop price.
The highlight was seeing my old boss there with his family. I actually forgot his name and somehow (e:terry) remembered later. He told me knew I would land on my feet after I left right after I left. I don't know why but it felt good - probably because I love my new job a million times more.
Escalators down from the rooftop garage
Polish painted eggs.
I never knew butter lambs came in two poses - head-turned and straight-face. I think the head turned is way cuter. That's a lot of freaking butter though
Two creepy rabbits, one swallowing (e:paul). It kind of reminds me of the Jones Pond furry.
