The yellow painted, red brick mansion at 23 North street collapsed. The roof totally caved in bringing down everything with it. I am pretty sure it won't be long before the bulldozers are in.
I know the house was in disrepair when the current owners bought it and propsed luxury appartments in 2006 (e:paul,32592) but they seriously let it get so much worse. Like the gaping hole in the roof that just stayed open for a couple years and pretty much sealed the deal on the current situation.
Bye house. I wonder what the property will become?

That's sad but not surprising. The parish house next to the brown stone church on main street was also demolished just a bit ago.
I wonder if any one will step up even with that damage it could still make a killing with that place depending on how the floors and wood work inside is.... question is that the same yellow house you thought about buying that had the Huge Radio Tower or is this a different one.... Hope at the very least they can get the good stuff out of it ????
That's a damn shame. I hope it doesn't become a parking lot for the medical campus.
