Hiking At The GorgeCategory: hiking
We headed out to the gorge today to do the full hike at whirlpool state park. We went to the end of the trail this time. I know why they want you to stop now. Right after the end is the sewer overflow. Its gross. Other than that it was a beautiful warm day.

How are the trails holding up? Looks like you guys made it through unscathed. I used to hike the gorge trails 2-3 times a week, but haven't been there in almost two years. I wonder/ed how much the stairs and trails have degraded since my last exploration, if any.

Fuck Your PrickersCategory: plants
After years of being stabbed by this stupid ass overgrown bush I couldn't take it anymore. The tortoise had dug in under it knowing I couldn't get him there. It also prevented us from ever finishing the pond because its prickly branches were all over it. Sure it was pretty in the fall. I am sure something is prettier.
It is now way dead. We even dug out and threw away the roots. It was so satisfying as it had scratched up my arms only a few hours before.
We also threw out the white carpet from the attic that was covered in fiber glass.

These blueberries were so amazing. They were like the size of large grapes and tasted like bananas.

I was all excited when you said they were as big as grapes but I am not so sure I want blueberries to taste like bananas. What's the point of being a blueberry then? Defeats the name, don't you think??
