On the walk back home, I was at Elmwood and Ferry when some asshole at the light threw his trash out the window. I'm normally not an angry person but littering drives me freaking crazy.
I ended up yelling at him, and going to pick up the trash. I also went a little psycho but I probably shouldn't post about what I did. I ended up getting stuck with the trash but he drove away with a spit covered windshield.
Its hard to stop but I should really watch it before I confront the wrong person.

Programming and bitternessCategory: programming
Tonight I was on a roll, so after I worked out I headed over to Spot to program. I've been looking at (e:Paul)'s cycles project and its helped me a lot in working on (e:terry)'s form making project, especially in terms of setting up things the right way with MVC and how I want to handle user input. When he was writing it I didn't always understand the code, but now I can sit down and step through it line by line it's a lot clearer.
Anyway I actually got coffee at spot. Lately I've liked the taste of coffee. I used to hate all bitter things like dry wines, hoppy beers and dark chocolate but for some reason in the past year or two it has been different. I guess I've either adjusted to them as I've had it more or my tastes have changed? Definitely had more of all these things with Paul and Terry. The sweet tooth has not gone away though.
Agave is now open where Blue Fin was. I really want to try it especially since its supposed to have a different menu than Don Tequila.

I wouldn't expect your sweet tooth to ever be replaced by your new appreciation for bitter tastes. If anything, one might enhance the other. There's nothing better than bitter coffee and something sweet to go with. Also dry red wine and chocolate are pretty amazing together too!

Family dinnerCategory: family
After making some chili last night, (e:terry) and I went to my parents' for a roast beef and candy dinner. Terry and I took Midnight on a freezing walk.
My mom made other things like potatoes au gratin and this tabbouleh style quinoa which I loved. They have so much candy that I had a relapse. Didn't stop me from having two slices of cake though.
My parents and Mid are pretty crazy about Terry and Paul so it was a good night.
After dinner we ended up going through old pictures and watching the Olympics closing ceremony where a giant robot bear started crying. Not sure what that was about. We also gave my mom, brother and dog makeovers with the makeup app. I hope P&T don't leave me for my any of them now.

Look at you with your suspenders. That is a big bowl of candy. Wish I could have been there.

Brunch at Left BankCategory: food
To recover from last nights craziness (e:terry) and I went for brunch at the Left Bank with (e:Robert) and Mickey. I got this giant cheddar and asparagus omlette, and Terry got the bruschetta with eggs.
We gave Robert and Mickey makeovers with the Makeup app. They totally could be models with makeup like that.
On the way home we saw somebody had lost their wig on a car. Must have been a good night.

Dreamland and the beach partyCategory: going out
Last night (e:flacidness) and Gerald came over before we went to the Dreamland art coop party. After a little bit of street fighter we headed out to the party on Franklin. The building was renovated really nicely. We ran into (e:robert), Jax, Kevin, Pierce and a bunch of other people. Pierce was there taking amazing pictures.
We ended up going to a beach party on Breckenridge after with Pierce, his boyfriend and Mickey. The house was packed, they had a band playing and everything. We didn't have beach wear so Terry and I just got into our underwear. Good thing we wore the fancy ones lol. The dancing sort of devolved into a mosh pit, it was so redonk fun.
We danced until about three before Terry and I headed home, stopping at Lloyd's of course

Damn, you have all the fun without me. :(

Good for you. People should be ashamed of thowing litter into the street, so maybe the jerk will think twice about it the next time he considers being such a pig. Be careful though; some people are crazy.
