Family dinner
Category: family
After making some chili last night, (e:terry) and I went to my parents' for a roast beef and candy dinner. Terry and I took Midnight on a freezing walk.

My mom made other things like potatoes au gratin and this tabbouleh style quinoa which I loved. They have so much candy that I had a relapse. Didn't stop me from having two slices of cake though.

My parents and Mid are pretty crazy about Terry and Paul so it was a good night.
After dinner we ended up going through old pictures and watching the Olympics closing ceremony where a giant robot bear started crying. Not sure what that was about. We also gave my mom, brother and dog makeovers with the makeup app. I hope P&T don't leave me for my any of them now.

Look at you with your suspenders. That is a big bowl of candy. Wish I could have been there.

Brunch at Left Bank
Category: food
To recover from last nights craziness (e:terry) and I went for brunch at the Left Bank with (e:Robert) and Mickey. I got this giant cheddar and asparagus omlette, and Terry got the bruschetta with eggs.

We gave Robert and Mickey makeovers with the Makeup app. They totally could be models with makeup like that.

On the way home we saw somebody had lost their wig on a car. Must have been a good night.

Dreamland and the beach party
Category: going out
Last night (e:flacidness) and Gerald came over before we went to the Dreamland art coop party. After a little bit of street fighter we headed out to the party on Franklin. The building was renovated really nicely. We ran into (e:robert), Jax, Kevin, Pierce and a bunch of other people. Pierce was there taking amazing pictures.

We ended up going to a beach party on Breckenridge after with Pierce, his boyfriend and Mickey. The house was packed, they had a band playing and everything. We didn't have beach wear so Terry and I just got into our underwear. Good thing we wore the fancy ones lol. The dancing sort of devolved into a mosh pit, it was so redonk fun.

We danced until about three before Terry and I headed home, stopping at Lloyd's of course

Mattress adventure
Category: shopping
Yesterday (e:terry) and I helped out (e:Robert) and drove out to North Tonawanda to do mattress shopping. We went to American Freight on the Boulevard. Robert found them online advertising crazy cheap mattresses, like $30. We drive out there and its this old pepsi warehouse, completely chaotic. There were so many people and salesmen swarming everywhere, hawking all this discount furniture and these giant stacks of mattresses. Seems like a huge fire hazard. The customers there were very North Tonawanda trash.

Robert got a new bed set and the employee managed to strap it on to the car.

On the way back we stopped at Trader Joes and Chipotle, hoping we could get a quesaritto (buritto made with a cheese quesadilla) but it was real busy. I was absolutely stuffed.

After two hours of sleep, (e:paul), (e:yesthatcasey) and I got up at 6 so I could take them to the airport. it was real chaotic and we were cutting it close on time. I dropped them off at the terminal about 7:15 for an 8am flight. I just got back. I haven't had to be up this early in a long time.

One week seems so long. Ich vermisse Paolo schon!

Hope its super bromantic! Wish we could escape the cold too.

I miss you guys already. We cut it so close. Its so crazy how they have one worker for priority security, one worker for families and then one worker for everyone else. The families and priority security people mostly sat there looking bored. Why don't they just have 3 people working everyone, it would go so fast.
