The CommodoreCategory: key west
I had the best meal of the trip and one of the best in my life. We ate at The Commodore in Key West The decor, waiter and food were all amazing.
We had lump maryland blue crab meet on artichoke hearts, paramesean baked asparagus, beef carpachio with capers, a spinich salad and then for the main course 4 of the largest shrimp I ever saw with beef tips in marsala sauce and zuchinni and baked potatoes.
(e:terry) drank beer and I drank a glass of malbec. The total bill came to $95 and this was full on fine dining with crumb sweep service.

Bone MarrowCategory: key west
This bone marrow dish from the 2 cent in Key West, Florida was amazing. The last time I had it was at Quality Meats in NYC when visiting (e:hodown). This one was even easier to eat because it was cut in half thr long way. Do they ever do this wirh sheep or lamb bones?

Owner's SuiteCategory: key west
Last night there was a sign in our door saying we were moving rooms in the morning. To our total surprise they upgraded us to the owner suite which is amazing.
Should make a great end of the trip weekend. We are both hopefully done being sick now and off to go reef snorkling.

Cemetary In The RainCategory: key west
It was so rainy on wednesday but the hotel lent out large umbrellas to wander around with so we hit up the cemetery. it is definitely the most chaotic cemetery I have ever seen. The plots seem so random as is the architecture of the graves. I suppose a bunch of hurricanes probably played a role in that. The craziest remuddle was a historic looking mausoleum with a 1990-2000 looking door.
