Mike's old room
Category: family
Not sure how this is fair but (e:Mike) moves out from the parents' house and I end up having to paint his old room.

My dad helped out a bunch although we had differing views on what constitutes complete. Strangely, I was the more picky one which makes me question if I am more of a pain in the butt then my father.

My mom chose bright yellow to paint over the blue. It was hard to make the blue not shine through. I know we could have primed but the paint didn't call for that.

Creepy Cutey
Category: animals
I found this weird little animal on the net. Not sure what it is and there was no additional info with the pic. It looks like a baby bat.

My grammar in comments is getting worse and worse. I think I stop thinking about sentence structure when I start commenting. That leads to all sorts of weird constructions and omissions.

The link is about baby bats were rescued in Australia after a bout of really bad weather. It's not anything like bats at all. More like small puppies in tiny blankets.

looks like a movie prop and not a fan of bats so not following the link....
tinypliny - 09/05/11 10:32

At Niagara Gorge
Category: hiking
I had a nice day hiking the gorge with (e:Mike) and (e:libertad). They are perfect for each other. I found some really delicious wild grapes. Hiking the gorge is way easier in the fall than in the spring when I am much more out of shape.

With the sky and the water the 1st picture looks like a horror movie....

The bird sat in the tree with me while I collected them. He kept calling to me every 10 seconds when I went a few feet away. Unless I responsed he would freak out.

metalpeter - 09/05/11 10:44
I think he freaks out cause one of the birds told him about what happened to another bird that "Was Bad" and got eaten ?
tinypliny - 09/05/11 09:30
He is really like a small kid! I wonder if he knows he is a bird or he just thinks he is one of you.

This sounds good:
  1. made with plant based ingredients
  2. quick and complete biodegradability
  3. minimum impact on aquatic life
tinypliny - 09/04/11 20:56
okay I coudn't resist

Complete ingredients list from :::link:::

  • Sodium Laureth Sulfate
  • 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol
  • Lauryl Polyglucose
  • Citral

Aqua
Sodium Chloride
Citric Acid
Fragrance
Limonene
Hydrolized Wheat Gluten
Aloe Barbadensis Gel

that is not bad AT ALL.. except for a 4 that could be essential soap chemicals. I learnt about soap and detergent composition in high school but everything is forgotten now. Old age does that to you.
paul - 09/04/11 20:42
I agree I have no idea.
tinypliny - 09/04/11 20:29
Clever. What I would like to know if what comprises the anionic and non-ionic surfactants?

But it does look good. Next time, I am getting this.
