Garage Sale Day 1

Well today went swell. It realy did. Lots of people showed up and they bought quite a bit of stuff. We can definitely use less tables and chairs tomorrow. I was really pleased. People came so early...like at 730 when it starts at nine and then they were digging thorugh all the boxes which made it harder to set up and everything but all in all in went well. Lets see what happens tomorrow.

Some guy asked if we were selling guns and I said no but we have racist confederate flag cards. He didn't buy them though.

Garage Sale Pics

Ok here are some pics of some items for the garage sale. This is really just stuff from my room b/c then I gave up taking pictures after that , so don't let these fool you into thinking this is all there is to offer. There is so much more and much better stuff also.

What?!? You're selling the Garfield Chia pet that Terry and I gave to you for Christmas? But we spent HOURS searching for the perfect gift. We know how much you love Garfield. ;) hope you made some bucks. And remember, anything you have left over that looks like a 75 year old would like ill totally buy.

I am speechless. How does one end up with some of these wild things.. I am not sure I even know what some of those things are. For once I wish I lived in the hood or at least had a car. :/

How many sand clocks do you have? Is the one with the orange sand the only one?

the orange elephant is definitely not for sale..that is coming with me to the aparmtnet, actually both orange elephants I have are coming with me.

@(e:libertad) yes selling that is a sin you must have that given away to someone of a different faith so they are converted....HA... That is so wild..... The Saved by the Bell Shampoo is insane..... Not sure if you are selling it but that orange Elephant in the background does look pretty cool though....

giving up my cd wall dream

So I always dreamed of having a huge cd wall in my apartment one day. I decided to join 2011 and am going to burn most of my cds onto the computer and then get rid of them. These 82 though I decided I can't part with. They are ones I like to pull out and listen straight through or have some special meaning and just can't part with at this time. You are probably thinking 82! that is not really getting rid of many cds then but I am probably getting rid of at least 82 other ones if not more

I actually just counted and am getting rid of 145 and keeping 82. That seems pretty good for a hoarder if you ask me.

The Garage Sale is Coming

So my garage sale is this Saturday and Sunday (August 13 and 14) from 9-3 at 309 Tremont Ave in Kenmore. I have spent so long going through all my years of collecting and so has my mom. I feel like we have so many little things and bigger things. It really has been so many hours. I am getting nervous now that noone will show up. That would be devastating. I hope shoppers come in hordes. It is a lot of work and it would stink if noone came. I feel like there is definitely stuff people could want. I advertised in the Buffalo news, craigslist, my work craigslist, here , facebook and will hang some signs around Kenmore the day before. I really really hope people show up. Need housewares, chotchkeys, stuffed animals, books, games, toys, dishes , a printer or more? Well then 309 Tremont is where you better be this weekend!

Well... where are the pictures? You should post a preview of everything here and link everywhere else you posted to those pictures. People are more likely to come if they see something interesting that they might want to check out.
