I hate beer bottles
Category: alcohol
We had to clean out the back hall for the wedding shower this weekend. Returning these bottles seems like a lot of work considering that I probably had around ten beers this entire year. and in the end it was worth like $10. Next time I am just putting them out for the homeless people.

A few things
1. Most Stuff tastes better out of glass so go with bottles when you can
2. To Bad the Metal Bottles they only do in single Serve
3. There are people (Don't know if you want to deal with them or not some I'm sure are fine and maybe some might be shady) who will come to your place and take your bottles....
4. I think the best thing to do is and most people don't do it this way (as long as you don't shop at the discount places like price rite type places)... When you go to buy your food return the bottles then and put some of that money towards food or maybe if you are throwing a party and need to go on the beer run return them then.... maybe they didn't make the picture but shocked there where not any cases....

5. You could always set up a shoot range in the Back yard HA! Or set up a Carnival Game HA..... Had to add some Levity

Hmmmm... in the pic from last year, wasn't it 90% Blue? An awful lot of IPA in that cart.

Yeah, leave it out with the rest of your recycling. Other people work pretty hard to get all those bottles and they might need that $10.

Not to mention all the bees the stale beer in those bottles attracted. And the smell of one year old beer in the bottles? Euuu. Thanks for that sensory overload Paul. Right before dinner, think I'll wait another hour now, lol.

On the roof
Category: linwood
Sitting in top of the roof I remembered how much I love it here in the summer. I just wish I got to the square a little earlier.

The New Tooth
Category: dentist
Besides the weird nerve shooting pain from the drilling that has kind of lingered, the new tooth is amazing. It looks totally real and feels real in consistency and texture, unlike the old fake tooth. I honestly think you couldn't even tell.

Pretty with a bleak undertone of pain. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. :( I wish I had a solution.

Having teeth crunched out hurts
Category: dentist
Today I got the crappy infected metal crown from Advantage Dentistry removed and replaced with a ceremac one that is designed by a computer and milled in a 3D printer while you wait. I know the one was infected not just because it hurt but because it smelled gross when it wads removed, disgusting.

I wish so bad that I could have been knocked out for tthe crunching smashing part. The noise will be in my nightmares forever. Its almost like a really intensified version of the sound you hear when you accidentally get sand in your mouth.

To my dissatisfaction I ended up with a whole lot of metal splinter shrapnel in my cheek from when they sawed across the metal filling. I did't notice it at first because of the novacaine. Then my cheek started to hurt and when I ran my tongue against it it cut my tongue. So I looked in the mirror, thinking wtf can this be and I see all this "glitter" embedded in my cheek. It is not easy to tweezers metal splinters out of the inside top of your cheek.

The fun continues next Monday with more fillings. They couldn't so the opposing ones today bbecause it was hard to be sure of my bite with the novacaine.

The tooth itself hurts so frickin bad right now I can't even concentrate. There are these awful random zinging pains. I hope this is not normal. I am taking tylenol PM now and calling it a day.

I wish I could take back all of the candy I ate as a child at this point.

kookcity2000 - 06/20/11 22:28
I got some wisdom teeth out under full anesthesia and I think I am convinced for life that its worth the money.
jbeatty - 06/20/11 21:03
I know what you mean. I woke up when they were crunching my wisdom teeth. The dentist was like "almost done" crunch, crunch, crunch. It least I was too high on that anesthesia too give much of a crap. But I will never forget that horrible sound.
