Spring Gardening and Pruning
Category: linwood
Its amazing how much work it takes to keep the garden in order. Our property is big but its not huge. I can't imagine having any more gardens without having to hire a gardener or being retired.

(E:terry) hacked out the pussy willow tree to make way for vegetables gardens. Everything is so late this year because of the cold. I left Basra our last night and he was so sluggish today.

We really trimmed back a lot of the pear tree. I think I want to. teeing it even more. The idea was to get it as far away from the ground as possible as it got that horrible fungal infection from leaves to near the ground last year.

The haircut I ended up with
Category: haircuts
There was no hope for the hair disaster the other day. I ended up having to buzz it on the lowest setting.

A new awesome phone I don't have.
Category: mobile
Just when I thought my current phone was still good enough I saw the infuse 4G coming out on AT&T and . It is super thin and has nice front and back cameras. The network speeds sound crazy. They are saying it will go up to 21mbps down and 5up. Thats about the same as my super fast wired connection.

The only downside is the lack of 3D and dual core. A lot of the new phones have 3d cameras and 3D displays. I just have this awful feeling I will regret not going with 3D when everyone else starts to have 3D pictures. Maybe the lack of dual core is a good thing for battery life.

I have heard that the Nexus one is predicted to have a lifespan of around 2 year and it will start failing. Start smiling in 3D.

No like truly 3d stereoscopic images. They have two camera distanced similar to you eyes. The camera then mixed them and displays the images in glasses free 3d. It is the future of imagery just as color replaced black and white and sommeday holograms will replace 3d.

Stereoscopic imagery is not new. In fact the civil war was one of the boat stereoscopically recorded events. The problem has always ben the lack of a convenient viewing medium but new 3d displayss have solved that. Current example of 3d devoces are the evo 3d and the Nintendo 3ds.

My fear is that if I wait a whole mother phones lifespan I will miss out an years worth of 3d images and will regret it in the future.

what is a 3d picture - is it like a gif animation? How can pictures be 3d. (Well, I know (e:matthew) can make them 3d... but yeah what is an inherently 3d photograph? Like a hologram?)

Hair crisis
Category: haircut
omfg. I decided to trim my hair because I have an important meeting on Monday. I thought for once I would use the "right ear" and "left ear" attachment.

The thing shaved racing stripes in my hair, argh.

Can I pull this off or do I need to shave my head now?

You could just go to a barber and they could probably fix it. There is a new one on Elmwood I have been curious about. You probably shaved your head by now?
tinypliny - 05/07/11 07:21
hahahahah @ the the last picture. :-)

I did that one time trimming my beard when it was thicker. I think I pushed to hard and it caused the plastic guard teeth to spread apart a bit. Just shave it.
