A little bit over a month ago I went to the National Chicken Wing festival, yes I admit I'm mega behind the link above may lead to the site where The Peterazzi Ran into some trouble. But these are the pictures from that event. Now I do have to admit that other years They did have kids dancing between events but looking back why would you have kids dance at a Beauty Contest, I know it is also a scholarship program and talent show, but that isn't why people are there to watch it. I also think they need to put some chicken wing stuff back into it......




















































When Mary Alice Demler 1st came out that was when the "Event" was listed to start and then there was all that dancing. That one thing girl you could see her ribs that was disturbing I couldn't even watch. Then Mary Alice comes out again and here is the rest of the contest and some dancing also..........






















































The Talent Portion since someone wanted to be a tough guy got moved to the side but next up those long dresses I think they call them evening wear....






















































































I know I had a great time watching that have some Jack Daniels well I like some of there stuff at that point in the day I was really thirsty for some reason , even with the said events, hope even though they are mega late (also on facebook) that some one enjoyed them and if not they are still up here as the photo documenting thing.....

Shonen Knife "super Group"

Yes there is intro and Yes they play louder then they sing, but where I was up close the speakers where behind me so that might be why it was a great time though hope all 3 videos work.

I don't think that the united states is the only country that has things like Pie eating contests, but if we didn't invent them then we should have. Nothing is more american then being able to eat a lot of food. This is an age old tradition that goes back a long ways or at least seems to......
























So the Asian lady is from Virgina and is known as Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas. I didn't get a picture where you can tell but after this competition she bought a thing of Kettle Corn. This isn't who eats the most based on time it is 1st one done that at some point they go by weight. Joey Chestnut was there but not to compete he was in that him vs. two teams thing earlier in the day. "The Black Widow" comes in 2nd.

So some time back I went to the National buffalo Chicken wing festival at Coca-Cola Field.








The 1st event I saw was where Joey Chestnut had an eating competition with amateur and people from the media.
















In the End he Came in 2nd it was fun to watch though.

So last year I went to see Shonen Knife sure I posted pictures. That show was filmed and this was not really a release party but the final stop on their tour. Here are a bunch of pictures.......

But first I think the opening band was called The Thermidors . I thought they where very good.... The Point is some opening bands are great and some are ok, I think they all have talent it is just if you like how they use that talent. Some people don't watch opening bands and that kinda pisses me off. You know that band you came to see well they where the opener at some time in some tiny place that no one except people in that city know of. Yes for some bands that is years and for some it is weeks but that is beside the point. Watch the openers there have been tours where the next year they where the headliners........

Well I think those pictures are a good sampling , it was a great time everyone should go out and see bands at bars (you don't have to drink) and if you can support local bands you like, not sure if the opener was local in this case......
