Behind the new, former casinoCategory: buffalo
We walked from out house at Linwood and North to Dug's Dive on the Lake. I really walk anywhere for clams. These pictures are from right behind what was to be the new casino.
I had never really walked this way before but its pretty doable. We had to go on down to Ohio st to go over the Buffalo river. I wish they had a bridge at Michigan St.
The yummy lucky charms smell from the General Mills factory is so overwhelming at this close proximity. You could actually taste it in the air.

In Terms of the store I'm not sure.... I know that I have seen some of the shirts at festivals , now that I think about it I don't think they had that shirt at the fair, I saw the Bret Hull is a cheater, I thought they did have that shirt when they where at Allentown West. To be honest it is tough to keep the Buffalo shirt places stright with there being a few of them.......

They are all sold out of that shirt. I asked the last time I was there. Then again that was when the plae was where the oil an vinegar store is now. I wonder if the t-shirt place moved somewhere else or if it closed?

I kinda miss sitting at the counter thing, sitting at the bar on a stool isn't the same, two places that come to mind quickly are Your Host and Wolworth's. I wasn't around when there where sit ins there but when I was a kid I did eat at one at least once (Grant St. Location I think) and yes you could buy birds and fish in there (no where near the food), think I also ate at the one downtown.
@ (e:Tinypliny) one of the T-shirt companies that make Buffalo shirts does have a shirt that says something along the lines of "my city smells like Cherios" ........

It's old style - the grill is farther down with the silver hood. You can see the handle of the french fry basket.

I dig it when everything smells like cheerios at random times! Can people go on a GE mills tour to see the production process? I would really like to do that. Any idea whom I can contact to ask about this? Has anyone ever heard of GE Mills tours?
And why abandon such a cool kitchen - it was in a gas station??! That is odd. Usually gas stations have uncool crammed corner-snack shops.

Why can't these stupid fucks park like normal people. You cannot expand your driveway into a parking lot without going through the proper channels. Especially when you are using my driveway to make it possible. It just looks looks so trashy with cars parked on the lawn.

The people parking can't even figure out how to maximize the space they have. Like how is the black car going to get out.

Here you get to find out how.
If you really don't think parking on the grass is an issue, why don't you park on your giant parking lot on North Street?

Another one just did the same thing, but even worse. When we had multiple cars we would just move so the other person could get out. Instead, they do this.

I seem to remember there is a reason why this will never happen, but there really needs to be some sort of divider right on the property line with a sign on your side that says "Private Property Absolutely No Church Parking or Standing".
I was thinking about this when I walked by with Otis this morning and all I could do was shake my head.

As annoying as all this must be to you, it is highly entertaining to watch. Sorry. :^)
Why don't you burn all of this in a CD and send this to the mayor's parking law office or the office that bans things like furniture in the porches etc.?

Holy crap though, using their online mercury calculator :::link::: , no matter how I spin it I go way over each week - even if I eat only the lowest ones. Maybe I should go get a mercury test.
This pocket guide to seafood mercury says clams are in the least mercury group :::link:::
Its usually the bigger fish on the higher end of the food chain.
Do clams come into contact with mercury?
