Could be a fungus. If you apply a fungicide and it goes away, then you know it was a fungus. Could be overfertilizing. Too much nitrogen turns plants yellow and they die. Have you been fertilizing a lot. If not too many leaves are yellow you can trying pulling off the yellowed leaves to slow it down. But maybe I gave you more information than what you wanted.

God, I hope it's not the end of basil, Paul. You should see the basil plant I have in my backyard. It's up to mid thigh on me. I think I should be able to freeze at least 10-15 cups of pesto!! That will make for a lot of pesto chicken and pasta over the winter.

Everyone keeps saying its coming. Someone told me its the end of Basil too.

Posted as in from the website or from the estrip app. If you don't have it already download the estrip app from the android marketplace. It should work pretty good as (e:heidi) tested it on her droidX.

Android here I come
My Android based phone has been ordered (Motorola X). Tonight I stopped at the Verizon stand in the Galleria mall. It is so much more screen then I am used to now using the Blackberry Storm. I am not going to lie...it looks almost too big. Time will tell but I am sure I can get used to it.

I am also looking forward to using the estrip app. I might be inclined to post a little more and with more pics.

The app is pretty awesome. I guess I am biased.

I love dinners in the summer
So Friday I finally got out the porch furniture and we decided to have dinner outside since the weather was so nice.

Steak, corn, left over cornbread and chop salad with a blue cheese dressing made from a Greek yogurt base.

Last night we made a dish I found in a Men's Health magazine. I can post the recipe if anyone wants it. Off the top of my head it was seared scallops over white beans, spinach, onion and bacon. I think the dish had something like 300 calories per serving (2 servings in the pic) but with super low fat and a ton of protein.

I was always so scared to cook scallops at home but they are very easy and tastes great.

I agree, dinner in the summer is the best. Its a combination between all the fresh things available and the ease of the grill. Scallops are the best food ever. One of my favorite recipes is to pan sear scallops and then make a sauce from cooking down maple syrup and carmelized unions.

Oh man, I read your post quickly yesterday and I thought... what odd looking scallions. They look like potato slices. And why on earth is he scared of cooking scallions?!

They are a mollusc!
