Somehow I was redirected to microsoft.msn.com.medate.info in the search results for Peter Paige on google. I was looking him up after seeing him on the flyer for illusions opening tonight (e:libertad,51634)
Obviously this is all fake as I am on a linux machine but I can see how an inexperienced computer user would freak out and think this is real. It looked totally convincing and was completely animated. Once you install it with .exe I am sure you are totally screwed.

When you try and exit, it even makes you feel bad.

Wifi tethering froyo updateCategory: android
As if the file upload in the browser and flash was not enough (e:paul,51709) , froyo also provides wifi and USB tethering with one easy press. This is one of the reasons I wanted the google phone from google and not from a carrier. I wonder how the carriers will react to this when rolling out froyo to their own phones.

Go Google, file upload in my browser!Category: android
I never realized how much I was missing with the mobile web until today when I got my froyo update on my phone thanks to (e:chris) sending me these instructions
. For those of you who do not know, froyo is the latest android OS for google phones. People with stock phones can just wait for the over the air update top arrive if you are scared of messing with your phone. They already started sending them out.
It does the one thing I have wanted for a mobile browser since I left my old windows mobile phone. Enable file browse/upload in the web browser by default. This is a total change to the apple disabled browser upload which forces people to make apps, which then have to be approved bullshit.
I guess other people were not as alarmed as me but it stuck at the heart of the internet, as far as I was concerned, to limit browsing activity to download only. It also took the open out of open web and was ultimately what made me leave apple for fedora linux (desktop) and android on the phone.
Here is what it looks like.

The lame old usersounds player works

Vut best of all the progress style flash uploader works, which means that you get the full desktop version of estrip on the go using Froyo.
Notice the upload button

And best of all, strawberry shortcake.com

Sliiick! I'll wait for the official release, which I think is next month. File upload direct from camera is sweet.

Well under state law if you picked it up when it said the previous price they have to give it to at that price. Unless it is other wise noted and price that is listed or displayed the store has to give you. The Classic Case of this is when something is on sale and they change all the tags but they leave one or forget to change the sign, when they over charge you say the sign says and if the sign is up that is the price they have to give you. I don't know if this law is still on the books. It used to be that anything you buy, if it goes on sale in the next 30 days at the same place you bring in your reciept and the add and the store has to give you the difference, Well at least at places like target not sure about food places, and agian not sure if it is still the law. (e:tinypliny) you are kinda in a grey area on that one though.
They have those tags only for items on display. And at Kohls the price has changed as I was waiting in the checkout queue. They told me that the "power-hour" sale just ended.
...what do they do when it changes as you're waiting in line to check out?
