The best onscreen keyboard ever
Category: mobile
I know I sounds like scuh a dork talking about my phone so much but its so amazing to have such an a moddable device again. The stock keyboard was okay but not as nice as the one on the iphone. Then I came across this one The fact that its even a moddable features and that there are a lot of custom ones is so awesome.

This is by far the best on screen keyboard I have ever used. I though the iphone one was good, but this one blows it out of the water.

The prediction is just as good, the voice dictate button is nice, but the best part is the long press on the switch between number and letter brings up the most commonly used symbols which you can slide to. Well that and the regular keyboard can do all those other symbols and numbers you see with a long press.

The fact that you can grab the source and change as desired makes it even more insane. That and that it is written in java. Its not that I love java so much but it is a skillset that open up many more doors than objective-C.

I'm so glad you have the N1 phone now Paul. I like the keyboard too, but I still wonder what typings like on the iPhone side.

After I got this phone I thought that I might start posting more often, but the processor being as slow as it is causes a lot of lag and hence typos.

I cannot wait for the EVO so much I might do something stupid to get it. The screen is enormous and the processor is over twice as fast as this phones.

The dog knows that monster eats Birds, HA. He should be freaked out by it, it is bigger then him and has a shell for protection.

I see two options. Maybe uncutsaniflush is joking, but you can do a raised box with a fence around it. Or you can dig a trench (1ft deep) around the garden and put a fence around the garden.

Or you can go to Urban Garden and check out their anti rabbit repellent. I think they have the urine scent stuff that scares them away.

I tried the marigold method and it didn't work.

Build yourself a rabbit proof fence that is at least 36 inches high. If Australia can do it, so can you. It may not be the most visually pleasing solution but it will work. Or contrariwise, maybe Basra will eat the rabbits. <eg>

Don't do the anti freeze thing, and for a reason you aren't thinking of. Would Barsa go after the plants? If He does and the plants do bring rabbits what will happen between those. Do you like How rabbit tastes ? Just some things to think about that i don't have the answers to........
paul - 05/14/10 17:29
That's actually 12 plants but I agree, never enough.
heidi - 05/14/10 17:13
I'm not sure there are ever "enough" peas in a garden. Three plants will not be sufficient.
paul - 05/14/10 16:02
Oh freakin hell, we so many rabbits. I didn't think about that. Probably some little pans of antifreeze would work, just kidding. Maybe I will just grow them inside. Would that work?
janelle - 05/14/10 15:40
Do you have a plan to keep the rabbits away? I tried snow peas and every time they crept up, the rabbits mowed them back down. All summer until I tore the plants out.
