Trip to smokehouse and viddlers
Category: food
On friday, (e:mike) And I went to Viddler's in east aurora and the
village smokehouse in orchard park.

At the smokehouse I was looking for crab legs but ended up with aged
beef and swordfish as they were out. The prices were great, the
quality was amazing and they had some cool stuff including a giant $80
rack of elk that would make an awesome dinner party. I didn't buy it
though because it was too big for the freezer.

I would totally suggest checking it out, although it's a hike to get
there. The guy that runs it is very knowledgable about his products
and is super friendly. They gave all sorts of meats.

At viddler's (e:mike) got some sifer's valomilk candies which have only
natural ingredients and taste amazing. I would suggest giving it a try.

Sometimes the lexington coop does have really good prices. This
lobster tail was only $5.50.

Did they use that pipe to express deliver Gator-meat to the tables?
tinypliny - 02/17/10 01:46
I first thought huh, (e:metalpeter) gained so much weight? Wait, did he cut his hair already and grew a beard and why on earth is he wearing a medieval shirt?

And then I saw it was your journal.

And that steel pipe above looks exactly like the one they use at work to send Samples zoooooming to the labs.

How much asbestos?
Category: asbestos
Have I been exposed to over the years and why does adding carpets make it more comfortable?

Kenmore Middle School is over 50 years old. As an older structure, Kenmore has building issues that impact upon learning, including individual room temperature. A staff survey indicated that students often complained about room temperature. An uncomfortably cold or hot classroom can affect students' learning and concentration. The staff is diligent in documenting such temperature variations so that they can be moved to another location or maintenance can be called.
The staff works hard, with the help of the custodial staff, to continue to make Kenmore an inviting setting for student achievement. After the removal of asbestos last summer, many staff purchased rugs to make the classrooms more comfortable.

All are eagerly awaiting the move to the new building during the 2005-2006 school year.

As to the carpets on the floor, my only guess is that without the asbestos the rooms were colder and people thought that the rugs would make rooms seem warmer.
