Mike- My Favorite Visco
A few days ago I picked up my mail (it's not something I do on a regular basis) and in the regular pile of bills and junk was a small package from Mike. I literally squealed in delight as I opened the package and saw what was inside:

Anything involving stickers I love

"Maxin' and relaxing thinking about my girl"

Sweet note from Mikey

Fuzzy pink Hello Kitty Diary with stickers AND glitter pen. Thankfully it's for ages 3 and up so it's safe for me to use.

THANK YOU MIKE I TOTES LOVE MY GIFT!!!

you're welcome!

Josh- I'm not sure how thinly that is even veiled.

It's all payback for when Paul told me he traded up for the new better model of Ho (Sarah). He will pay for the comment until the end of time.

I love how Jessica posts this both as a thank you to Mike and a thinly veiled slight to Paul. Why I enjoy that, I don't know.
hodown - 04/20/09 13:05
It's a lolipop and its the envelope. Don't hate because Mike is so awesome.
paul - 04/20/09 13:03
What is the girl with the face mask on the front of the box and why does she have a chord coming out of her.

Bacon- and not in a good way
On my way back to the City from AZ I made my usual stop at Sprouts for my favorite sandwich: bacon, avocado and turkey on multigrain. I was the first customer at the counter and I figured in 5 minutes I'd be on my way to meet Momma Ho for my ride to the airport. It's a fairly simple sandwich to make, however the woman behind the counter took literally 20 minutes to make it. She did a lot of chopping and moving things around and looking confused. When she handed me the final product I had this feeling that I should open the package and inspect the sandwich (which is something I never normally do). Turns out I should have listened to my gut. Once I was on the plane ready for my 5 hour flight I opened the wrapper and took a huge bite and was perplexed. Like a idiot I took a second bite. It was then that I realized what the problem was. Raw bacon. I was deathly ill for the second time in one week. Have you ever been sick in a airplane bathroom? I'd rank it up there with top 5 least favorite things in my life.

Oh Miss USA
I didn't actually watch Miss USA last night because that's 2 hours of my life that I'd never be able to get back. I also knew that the best parts would be on the gossip blogs this morning. I was right.

Miss California managed to make a fool of herself. Just watch and see for yourself:

  • My favorite part is at the end when Perez looks like he wants to bitch slap her for being so stupid.

I don't understand how she made a Fool of her self. She thinks Marriage should be between a Man and A women. At the same time she said that it is good to be able to have a choice not sure if she meant for marriage to be both a man and women or if she meant for a person to be able to chose I assume the first, but it is how she was brought up and she even admits that, it is an honest answer.

Um Jessica do you have a tatoo?
While in Arizona Sarah and I made the pilgrimage to the gas station taco joint. I love this place because of their amazing taco action. They also usually have amusing vending machine trinkets. This past time we both got temporary tattoos. My sister totally scored with a wizard/Viking tattoo.

Fast forward to home: We applied the tattoo and then took pictures of it with my mom’s camera. My mom then went through her camera and saw the picture. The following day I was doing her hair and she casually asks "Do you have a tattoo Jessica?". I could not believe that #1 she would think that I'd have a tattoo before Sarah and #2 that I would get a wizard/Viking tattoo of all things!

that thing looked so hideous on, like a poop stain on the back of my neck.
paul - 04/17/09 12:13
Plus we all know if you had a tattoo it would be of hello kitty.

I like the aviators! I'm happiest when I can wear them outside.

Shrimps
A month or so ago (e:businesscheese)'s 'rents came into town. Like everything else in my life it turned into a competition into who could win their affections. Papa (e:businesscheese) hearts 3 things: Cap'n Crunch, Coca Cola and Shrimp. I combined 2 of his loves into one delicious appetizer. Needless to say they were a hit.

image
First you take fresh whole jumbo shrimp. Peel and de-vein.

image
Dip in seasoned flour then egg.

image
And most importantly the Cap'n Cruch. I love how it's Cap'n Crunch and not Captain Crunch.

image
Fry.

I don't have any pictures of the finished product, but they were delicious.

hodown - 04/17/09 17:03
Yes it can be. Although being stoned while making them would prob hinder the final product.
jason - 04/17/09 16:56
I guess I'm still blown away. Can that be considered stoner cuisine?
paul - 04/17/09 12:11
You are so making those when you come to visit next. I also commented on (e:businesscheese)'s journal because I hadn't seen yours yet.
businesscheese - 04/17/09 11:46
I do and I'll blog them up right now!!!!

They were crack. You succeeded in winning Greg's affection.
