So for some of you who read (e:drew) page he has this great looking picture of him self it is from a website called Obamicon.me . I will admit that it can be a little bit addicting and sometimes you can have a picture look perfect and then you mess it up playing with colors to much. I haven't tried to do any pictures of multiple people yet but maybe in the future I will here is what I have done so far. I don't think I can get mine to look as cool as some peoples on that site there are some amazing ones and I include (e:drew)'s in that.

Well I hope to mess around there more and put up more pictures when I have more time.
In terms of talking about the guy I can't say much because I feel like I have said it all through comments here. What I will say is that I can't even try to understand what it was like yesterday for him and his wife to have to speak at 10 balls and I assume dance at each of them. I did see the Beyonce'e (oh what a hottie) sing a great version of that old time classic song, and thought she did a great job of it. I watched pretty much most of the live one for the youth on MTV. I think that they talked a little bit to much. But I guess part of that is that you can go on line and watch all the acts full sets. But the one thing that I did like about it was How Target kinda gets the message that to make this country better people have to help out. That seems like part of his message that The People who want change have to make it themselves but maybe I misunderstood something.

Service should equal costCategory: philosophy
I think that in this country Cost and Service should be more connected then they are sometimes. There are so many different ways where this is the case that I'm not sure where to start.
With things like TV's, Cameras and others things you might find at Target or say Best buy they are covered for service for say maybe a year 6 months or some small time frame by the maker of the goods. Then if you want coverage of more time then that you can buy it. That is nice of the store. (that reminds me I might have something to get fixed). But the point is that when you are paying for what ever you are buying it should be made good enough that they can give you a longer service plan then what they do. I also shouldn't have to pay to send it to them and then send it back. Hey what you made was crappy you should have to pay for it to be fixed or let me trade it in where I bought it. This is even more true with cars. You buy it new any thing that goes wrong in the 1st 2 years should be free to fix and you shouldn't be charged for the parts or the time and you go right to the dealer and since the car wasn't made right the dealer should pay for the tow or at least part of it since the car going bad is the people who made it not your fault.
In terms of eating food you kinda pay for the service that is provided. For example if I go to some place to eat generaly the nicer and the higher quality the place and the food is the more money the place costs. That in turn makes how much of a tip you give go up also. You also expect better service then like a fast food place that will be what I mention next. If the service isn't good then no tip or a little tip. For most people they don't know was the waitress slow or was it the kitchen so it all falls on the person who brought the food. Well unless it is the food that is bad. Now if you where at a fast food place well that wouldn't be so bad but you are here for the place and the better food so it is a problem and maybe you don't want to pay for it. I think that is fair.
I myself love Mighty Taco, Burger King, Wendy's , Taco Bell and I'm sure some other fast food places. Yes I like the food. I know the stuff is bad for me (unless you go after the healthy stuff). But when you go to one of those places (not cheap like they used to be, but cheaper then a lot of places) you are paying for them being quick. This is more true when going through a drive through then sitting down, but it is still true. If you walk into McDonalds and there is a long line, you are best to leave. Yes after time you learn to love their food, but that is different. You are there because it is fast and cheap (just like streetwalkers from what I have heard). If they lose the fast part then there isn't really a reason to be there.
This leads me into the NFTA. I know that a lot of people think the price increase is bad. I would agree sort of. I wish they weren't raising the prices. But I would rather they Keep services and raise fairs then cut services. I think that unless they come up with more fares more often then they shouldn't get to do a 2nd fare hike. I think NFTA should run 24 hrs a day. Yes it is nice that they have that late 20 bus if you are in College that goes from downtown to the different schools. But what about us drunks that aren't why not have buses for us. Here is what pisses me off. Monday is MLK, nice holiday. But see most working people don't have it off. Yes city and state and county or who ever gets it off. But if you work at like a Job or a Plant you have to work. But see the bus people put everything on a Saturday time frame. But see some buses like the one I take don't go every where they go on a weekday. On a Saturday like two buses go out as far as I go, and after about a half work day one goes back into the city. What about people who have no way to get back. Worse yet how do people who depend on the bus who have to work on a Sunday or a Holiday get to work? I think that for $2.00 a ride the NFTA needs to give much better service on weekends then it does. But I don't have other cities to compare it to. I know workers want the weekends off and stuff, but hey if other people have to work them so should they. The NFTA shouldn't be about profit it should be about providing a service and making sure people can get to and from where they need to be.

Bandits and V-day thoughtsCategory: repost
So On Friday night I went to the Bandits game. They played the Rochester Knight Hawks. I think the knighthawks changed goalies twice. The Bandits in the end crushed them.
Those pictures above where from the warm ups and the intros and stuff. To me the game seemed very physical and it was great to see some fights. One of them was near me and the other one was far away.
not sure how clear those shots on the screen are but here are some pictures from the other fight.
Not really sure how good those pictures above are. With a fight you kinda have to be there to know what it is like and to have that feeling.
Here are a few more random Bandits pictures from the game.
So after the game the interviewed the MVP of the game (montour) and He made a lot of saves (don't have the stats but maybe the math is able to be done if it is clear in the picture). I guess it is the biggest beating of Rochester in both Goals Scored and Goal Differantail. There was this cute lady sitting next to me but not sure if she was the same one from the last game she kinda looked like her. Lucky for her we are on the glass so she is pretty much not going to be on the Kiss Cam, but one can only hope right, HA. I wonder what would have happened though. The next home game for the Bandits is on Valentines day, fun. Well it will make the day good and I won't be home alone on that day. That leads into a couple things movie wise. Has anyone seen My Bloody Valentine 3D i love the ads for it "Nothing says Date movie like a trip to Hell". Also on Friday Feb. 13th the new Friday the 13th movie comes out. That does look pretty good. If I where to see I would see it in the day time. You never know what might happen at the regal (galleria or on Elmwood at night) and I'm sure that kind of movie is the type that both the White and Black trouble makers like, watch out for a race war to start (not saying it will but just watch out). From what I have heard some elements of the 1st few movies are mixed together. Like in the first one he didn't have that Hockey Mask. Maybe I'll see it.
Ok back to Valentines day. I'm not going to go on and on about the reasons I don't like it. Last year I tried to kinda get over that and it didn't work to well. I came up with a new category called repost.
The reason I call it repost is that it has something that I have or may have posted before. Another time when it would be good is say a party is coming up you could then post pictures from the last party or the last party of the same theme. Maybe it is an annual event then you can post pictures from previous events. So here is where I'm going to post some pictures that I have in the past from last V-day.
Well I just looked at my Media and I don't see the pictures I thought I put up so I guess and hope I can find them and if they are where I think they are they will be random so who knows what I'll get.
I wanted to post pictures of As Summer Dies and Soma also known to some as (e:Soma). It looks like they are all way to dark so I posted a few of Club Diablo that really was a great time last year and hopefully the Bandits game will be great and they will win, well off to go watch the pregame and watch some football, I don't want to go to work on monday. Oh yeah for you non football fans HBO has some Barrack concert thing on live in a bit to.

Well she picked a good game to go to, she could be in the pictures if you can see her you have great eyes. I like the new user picture. On a side note even though I don't go there very often I love the inside of Club Diablo, I think it is the coolest or best inside of a bar I have ever been to. Everyone should go at least once.

"....I want bi MTV"Category: tv
First of all the tittle is a play on words from the Dire Straits song "Money For Nothing" for those that don't know how that song starts out. There is even a line in that song that I just thought of not sure if it was a bash then when he uses the term Fagot but then he says he wants to be like him so I guess it isn't.
I know what I'm about to say to some people may sound a little weird but I think it is kinda true. There are people who the way that they first saw gay or bisexual people is through MTV. I think this is more true of people my age then kids today. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing really.
I'm not saying that there where not gay people on TV or in movies before MTV, in fact I'm sure there where. But MTV has all ways had a large young audience. People on the "Real World" seem more reel then say a story in a movie. Granted you don't really know what effect the camera has on people but I think that could be true of any documentary. I didn't see all the episodes of the Real World that Had Pedro On them in SF. But I think at the time having someone with HIV and who was gay was a pretty big deal back then, and exposed a lot of people to something they never new about. Some people might say well that was a long time ago why the fuck are you blogging about that now, and here is the answer.
This season of the Real World (yes you can see more of it online at MTV's website) Just started airing. They are in Brooklyn, NY. The first episode is always mostly about everyone moving in and meeting each other and that. I haven't seen all the seasons but so far this is the Gayest one (I don't mean that as a slur). Ok so sorry I don't remember the names after one episode. This time there are 8 roommates not 7 and the mates have mentioned that also. There is one Girl who used to be a boy and went to Thailand to get her gender reasignment (girl now used to be a boy) and she has a boyfriend back home. Then there is this girl (i find hot by the way) With tattoos who is a dating a guy back home but says that before him she only dated girls. Then there is a guy who is gay and it is so obvious and he wants to have the back of the Transgendered girl. Now where things get odd is there is the Mormon guy who claims to be a Virgin by choice. He doesn't say that he is gay or bi (but if he hasn't had sex is he really anything yet? something to ponder) but he gives off the impression to everyone that he is gay. With the 1st episode there isn't really any drama yet so you can't tell if peoples sexuality will be an issue in the house but it will be interesting to see.
I think that it is good that MTV hasn't only left homosexuality in the "real world". I don't know what other shows it has been on, but I'm guessing all the dating shows. I used to really like Room Raiders. I that one person goes to 3 peoples bedrooms and picks who to date based on what they find. I know they have had some same sex versions of that. I assume they have with the other dating shows.
For those people who love trash TV Tila Tequila had a Love finding show two years in a row, called a shot of love. I'm guessing that after the 1st year people knew what they where singing up for. But in the 1st year it was a shock, she had so many guys and so many girl each gender thought that they where the only ones competing for her love and then they find out she is bi and that it is an open compititon not sure if the guys or girls where more upset. After both shows Tila gets her heart broken once off the air and the other time on air. That then led to another show that I have not seen yet called "A double shot Of love" I guess here there is a set of Bisexual twins who are looking for love, I'm guessing that gets pretty crazy.
I'm not calling MTV a pioneer for gay rights. I'm not saying they are the only people who show gays on TV. I'm not saying that them showing some gays on TV is good or bad, or that it makes things better. I'm not sure maybe it does expose people to something they don't know about and maybe it does make them more open. Or maybe they see a show like a shot of love and think less of bisexual women. Or maybe people just view it as entertainment and it doesn't effect them, I'm not sure it depends on the person I guess.
One last thing I know people get upset that MTV doesn't play videos any more. Well that isn't really true. Most people who say that stopped watching when all they would play was Hip Hop and Rap and hard rock and metal where shoved out. You can find music on there if you know when to find it, maybe if you look real hard. I think that is why they came out with a bunch of other MTV stations like 2 and some spanish one and they own VH1 and there are others of those like classics. Not sure about on other shows but I know on the "Real World" when they play music there is this little thing on the bottom of the screen that pops up and tells the song and artist but you have to look for it. On a side note does MTV own LOGO. Ok back to football hope everyone has a great what ever is left of the weekend.

I agree with you about #5 that is very true.
You are right about Looking like Zappa I would never have noticed that though.
I think the third one and the second-last one turned out best. The last one totally makes you look like Frank Zappa.
