Shaved My Head AgainCategory: hair
I tried to give myself a haircut again but just trimming the sides. Unfortunately, that left me with a mullet. So then I tried to cut it shorter in the back too which gave me this really bad guido haircut. Then I trimmed the top to, not bald just short and it looked too military. Then I decided to turn it into a mohawk but when it was done I decided I was too old for that which took me to the next step - buzz cut.

So (e:terry) left his facebook signed in and I decided to search for people I knew in Buffalo that I cared to find out about in order to see if it was worth joining. The problem is the people I cared about in any way - I pretty much have contact with and the rest of the people I knew, I don't really care if I know them anymore as I would have kept contact.
That coupled with the fact that the few people I could possibly care about don't seem to be on the internet at all, or are woman with new last names I have no idea about, or are form foreign countries and don't seem to be on facebook.
Then I saw this:
Just as I was about to quit looking, she magically showed up as someone that (e:Terry) should be friends with because of their mutual friends with Nameless Bitch and (e:gaylynnemup). What a small world. I guess it is Buffalo after all but really what are the chances of that, especially considering the two of them are not Buffalonians, (e:terry) is no a Buffalonian and she graduated high school like 3 years before I did. Maybe (e:terry) is a Buffalonian now. I guess he spent more of his adult year here than anywhere else.
Danielle contributed a lot to my growing up, even though we knew each other for such a short time - I would say during that time I changed from being a kid to being a semi-adult and no I do not mean this in a sexual way. It would be so interesting to get to talk to her now
Maybe Nameless Bitch can invite her to our holloween party?

Little bit of Rave historyCategory: music
So my favoritest of favorite raves was this one Syrous party at Cinespace in Toronto. It was some giant movie studio maybe. Anyways, I remember the laser show was insane amazing and ther music was different than anything I had heard at all the other parties up to that point.
The lasers were insane. I know I just said it but I remeber that was the only time I was ever really impressed by a light show.
So I found these images online but I have the flyer upstairs. I remember looking it up before and none of the djs music matched what I remembered. Then looking over this forum
carefully I saw that Mickey Finn (UK) was replaced by Andy C because of imigration problems.
How crazy is that? (e:hodown) remembers this party too I am sure. I think we even saw my cousin Christina there.

I am thinking about going dancing in Rochester tonight. MC jumper who I enjoy is MCing the hardcore room at Tilt.
Anyways, semi related but way more interesting I was looking some Andy C stuff on youtube and found some jungle music remixed to a video of christian dancers at different churches being moved by the holy spirit. Looks like there are ravers everywhere.

With the popularity of the "King Cooker", used for deep-frying turkey, chicken, etc., I know a number of people who occasionally have gross amounts of oil to get rid of. The food usually tastes great but if you think about it too hard it becomes kind of sickening.

I guess. Didn't think about the frying restaurants! Now that I think back, what I thought earlier was hilarious. I had this mental picture of me carrying a whole pot of rancid fat that I might have accumulated frying a bazillion fritters over a month to the recycling place and dumping it in a cauldron. Heh.

Beats the hell out of a landfill somewhere! Besides, with as many "wing" joints and places that serve fish fry as there are around here, they should be able to recycle TONS of grease.

You so should have kept the mohawk that would have been interesting. I tried to cut my hair once, that is why my hair is different lengths. I was shaving and was going up towards my ear and my hand sliped and I took a chunk out of the hair on the side so it was time to shave all the hair on the side. My hair was long enough that mos of the time you couldn't tell how short the stuff on the sides and in the back was. I'm sure the back wasn't exactly even but again you couldn't tell from the hair on top of it.
My son ends up doing that everytime he tries to cut his own hair. One of his friends gave him a buzz cut once when there was something wrong with the clippers. He ended up with these completely down to the skin bare spots on his head (sort of a leopardy pattern, though more sporatic). I, of course, had to make fun of him and call him spot. It took forever for the hair to grow back on those spots too - it was wierd. Anyway, it's a nice look on you - you look very handsome (and serious).
