Goodsearch!
Category: money

It may not be as powerful as google, but if you decide to make goodsearch your primary search engine, it will allow my church to raise a couple of bucks, (until Paul registers estrip with goodsearch), which I recommend. And it uses Yahoo!, so it does a pretty good job of searching.

Please go to goodsearch.com and add it to your toolbar as your primary search engine. I would love it if you made Lafayette Church the non-profit you choose to support, at least until estrip signs up.

It doesn't cost you a thing!

That's a very nifty idea.
changeisgood - 11/20/07 10:35
How clever you are!

Very cool... as soon as I get a computer, I shall have to remember to do that.

30 Rock
Category: tv
Best show ever. (except maybe the Simpsons)

And I often like to watch it online, so I figure the writers, especially the brilliant ones on this show, should get a share of the online and DVD revenue.
metalpeter - 11/16/07 15:57
I have never seen to be honest. But I think we both agree on the writers getting a better share from online money and DVD sales.

Really? James and I watched the first episode and gave up. Did it get better?

Basketball
Category: sports
A friend of mine and I are going to hoop it up tonight, but we are hoping that we can do better than one on one.

We will start around 7:30. No cost, all are welcome.

james - 11/15/07 14:46
I am terrible at basketball. I would love to join you folks but my class gets out super late tonight

Not enough?
Category: time
Today I feel like there aren't enough hours in the day (and yet I find time to post on estrip--I know).

I also am thinking about our church's budget. And that would be easier if there was more money.

Of course, I know that we have exactly the right amount of time AND money, and we just have to make the choices to use them both well.

And so, when I get home tonight, around maybe 9 (after SIX separate, unrelated meetings in one day, plus too many phone calls and stress about programs and money, starting at 8am and including a lunch meeting), I will not think about this stuff anymore, and focus on relaxing with my wife.

Then we will start again on Wednesday (which should have a more normal pace)
