faben's graduation is on monday and she refuses to go. and she's been kicked out of honors math, although is still in all other honors. (which i don't understand how, since she's barely passing those)
i know i've said it so many times this past week, but i was hungover every day for like, five days straight. when i started in the beginning of the week, two drinks and i would be tipsy, by the end, i could easily down five and be perfectly fine. it's scary how quickly you build up a tolerance.
i've really been having a ton of fun hanging out. didn't really expect it.
marvin is barely speaking to me. he's so angry with me, and doesn't want to hear anything about what i've been doing. i don't really understand why, i mean he's had a zillion chances for many years. so, now when i am seeing someone, he gets an attitude. tough shit, buddy.
omg, someone is coming in my pool room to KILL MEEEEEE!
holy shit, if you find out that i'm dead, it's cuz some killer has just gotten into our yard.
gotta go investigate.

o come ye, worthless sleephmmm....let's explore what happens when one takes an ambien and then does not go to sleep.
one gets a weird high that consist of slowed reaction time and slowed thought.
one get an instant "AHHH" feeling throughout one's body.
one starts to think that it may be more fun hanging out with the ambien for a while, rather than retiring for the night so soon.
one can no longer focus on faces that are farther then a couple of feet away.
one also can't walk correctly. one begins to sway from left to right .
one now lights a cigarette and looses it. so one lights up yet one more.
one just gave another one an ambien, who has returned a cross continental trip who has same insomnia problem, for years, but has never taken any sleep meds.
we'll see how it works for that one.
one also is beginning to think that one might write something clever.

one is now getting yelled at for smoking and is getting tired of thinking about clever things.
one has run out things to say.
one is going to sleep.

way back when, before i knew (e:Uncutsaniflush), i went to my family doctor for help with my insomnia. He told me to have sex. Actually, he told me to go to a bar, pick someone up and get laid. Now, i don't know if that was just his not so subtle way of telling me to relax or not... but he knew i was single... and not into one-night stands. Silly man. Think that will work for you? :O)

I say try that stuff (e:theecarey) did a post on, it was like some vanilla tylenol thing. Of course the danger with that is if it works I'm sure it has a very high addicting factor. Not that I have had insomnia. But it seems that when I can't sleep if I turn a movie or Show I'm really into then a fall asleep on the movie.

This probably sounds kind of wierd, but sometimes accupuncture can help with insomnia. Sometimes it eases away the tension that prevents a person from sleeping.

ajay is on the right track... but not just sex. lots of mind blowing crazy hot trapeze sex. like the kind that makes you call in to work the next day. and if you still can't sleep then have some more. and if that doesn't work..... well at least you had some great sex, right?

I used to have absolutely terrible insomnia. I was on some anti-depressants and anti-anxiety drugs for a while and that made it worse. once, I went about five days without sleep but was still tired.
If you are on any medication, talk to your doctor.
If this is part of a larger mental funk, talk to a therapist.
If you love your life, have no issues, not on any medication, and still can't sleep? Well, my little brain has no idea.
Be well.

Insomnia isn't one of my problems, but the only time I couldn't sleep for days was when I was on Welbutrin. I got a book called Nutritional Healing. The section on insomnia has many suggestions. It lists foods and drugs to be avoided like, caffeine, as well as foods that should be eaten before bed like turkey, or nut butter. If you message me your physical address I could mail a copy of that section for you.
Whatever you do, don't kill yourself!

yeah, the ambien helps some....much better than if i had nothing, but it doesnt fix it or let me sleep all night long like they do in the commercial. but at least i was able to sleep some instead of none with the ambien. i wonder how that lunesta stuff works, or the ambien slow release.

we need some juicy gossip from you. Usually I would think "didn't get any sleep for the last two nights" was the beginning of a good story...

I feel ya. eh havent found anything to help full blown insomnia yet. Ambien doesnt help it at all, huh? - was wondering that for my own sleepless nights and had a feeling that it wouldnt. Insomnia bites big time. Upside for me is an insane amount of energy & silliness.
Dont hang yourself quite yet--just hang in there!

There is a part of me that goes what on earth happend last night or would that be today. There is another part that wonders how can someone be hungover all ready at this time of early evening. There is this other part that doesn't want to know what happended. Then there is the other part that really wants to hear the story of what happend hung over and bruised knees that could be really great or really awefull. In any event I hope you feal better.

toronto: part 3.14159265people, if you've never seen phantom of the opera, you are missing a sensational show! i know it may seem corny and lame, but i cannot begin to tell you how fucking fantastic the show was. in fact, it was so fantastic, that i am taking my ass back to the theater to see the show again, tonight!
we sat in the second balcony today, and although you got a nice view of the whole stage, it was quite a distance away from the stage. in order to get a better view, i'm going back tonight and sitting in the first row. for 50 bucks a ticket, you can't go wrong.
this really is one of the most spectacular productions ever made. the costumes are brilliant; bejeweled and shiny, the stage setup is exceptional and the over all show is truly unforgettable. this really is one of those shows that one MUST see during their life time. i had shivers during the climactic scenes and my eyes watered at the end. the audience gave a standing ovation to the cast and i felt like a little girl, feverishly clapping my hands when the phantom took his bow.
that phantom....he's so misunderstood. he's my kind of guy.

I have seen it twice once in Buffalo and once in Toronto. Both times it was very good. I will admit I wanted to go see it a 3rd time. The reason being is there was a singer I liked playing the role. If memory serve he was from a band called skid row and was named Sabastain Bach. I'm glad you like this new production of it.
