I went another big concert on Transit Road with Leah and Robin (Leah's friend, not my Robin). Leah's boyfriend, Mike Bouquard was suppose to play their band before big bands start. Well, Mike was very good. I knew that he plays guitars, but didn't know how good he is. But, it was little funny in a way because Mike got shy so that never turned around to audiences.
Well, as I already mentioned that I don't know many indie bands in America because I didn't grow up here. I love music and am always willing to find out good music I like.
So, I forgot the name of bands who played tonight. I remember one.. "The Rapture"
They are so good.. Their music is so cute and rythemical that made me little dance. Before them, actually there was another band, but I don't know the name of band and also I didn't get any impression. And Last band, Mo
something started like that was sooooo good. They are from Scotland. They were amazing. I love them. Seems like I have to buy a lot of CDs. I just bought Sonic Youth today.
It's funny because I never went to concert in Korea. I just went to see opera thingies. Well, since I got here.. how many times.. let me think..
I went to Eric Cripton, Jim Brickman, Sigur Ros (twice), Sonic Youth, this time.. well, I went to a lot of experimental concerts or jazz concerts at Soundlab and Hallwalls. I love music.. Hum..
I had a joke to Leah and Robin while watching another band before big bands. One of bands, there is a skinny asian girl singer. She is so skinny... I told Leah, I want to be like her.. so skinny. Of course, Leah said that I'm crazy. And.. I told her that what is the call of fat stomach in Korea. DDong Bae, which implies Shit Container. So I told her.. I got big shit container.. Leah and Robin got crazy laughing..
Fat Stomach is Shit Container that is called DDong Bae in Korea.
Oh well.
I don't want to check my English spelling or anything right now.. sorry.

Something for some people. This is Paul about Steve Kurtz.
FBI HARASSMENT OF ARTIST AND SCIENTIST CONTINUES
Kurtz and Ferrell face 20-year charges of mail and wire fraud in federal court arraignment.
Dr. Steven Kurtz, Associate Professor of Art at the University of Buffalo, was arraigned and charged in Federal District Court in Buffalo today on four counts of mail and wire fraud (United States Criminal Code, Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1341 and 1343), which each carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
The defendants were charged not with bioterrorism, the investigative reason that was state on the original FBI subpoenas, but with a glorified version of "petty larceny," in the words of Kurtz attorney Paul Cambria. The laws under which the indictments were obtained are normally used against those defrauding others of money or property, as in telemarketing schemes. Historically, these laws have been used when the government could not prove other criminal charges. (See
for background and full text of indictment.
Under the arraignment conditions, Kurtz is subject to travel restrictions, random and scheduled visits from a probation officer, and periodic drug tests.
Well, The trial will be next March as I heard. So, Steve doesn't have any problem to teach in this Fall. And I heard some crazy things. He has to go to FBI office whatever (I'm not sure) every Wednesday. And..he can't get drunk. He can drink, but he can't get drunk.. Isn't this so crazy..?
And,, here the thankyou message to Metalpeter. Well, the photo I got is from Korean funny news blog website. Whenever I find out funny photos, I will post it here. I'm glad that you liked my sister's photo and the funny photo.

Sonic YouthI had no idea who they are until I got in the place, Sphere last Saturday night. Well, so many people came out for their concert and they seemed very excited about it.
I got a free admission to get in there actually. What happened to me, Here the story is.
Michael Bureman (I don't know his last name spelling exactly), Soundlab assistant called me in the morning. Well, of course I didn't pick up the phone because I was in the bed. Well, but I wanted to check message though.. I was scarcely awaking and checked the message. He left "Hi Soyeon, this is Micheal Burman, I'm looking for Robin's phone number and if you know please give me a call back" Hum.. Robin..? She is in GA right now. I ignored his message and went back to sleep.Then.. He kept calling me again to look for Robin. Okay.. Finally I picked up the phone and "hi" and told him "Robin is in Georgia" He said.. "oh, then would you be interested in passing out flyers at the concert tonight.. you can get a free ticket and free drink" Hum... Sounds good to me. That's what happened to me. So I was substitute of Robin because she wasn't here.
Well, I was interested in doing that not only going to the concert but also checking ID and taking money at the door of Soundlab. I needed some activity. But, as considering that I didn't grow up in America, I don't know many underground bands. So, every time, I find out good bands and music, I'm always willing to go and listen.
Soundlab people were talking about Sonic Youth, but it sounded like to me "Santa Cruse" So.. I thought.. we are going to see Santa Cruse.... Santa Cruse.. Hum.. Sounds not bad. So, I asked Leah at the concert.. When Santa Cruse coming out..?
Of course, she laughed a lot.. No.. No.. Sonic Youth. She said and added who they are. The concert was amazing. I loved it. Of course I had to give the flyers out to people at the concert. Of course I got shy by doing that. Because I never done doing that kind of stuff before. Micheal Burman was looking at me and telling me.. "give them out" The flyers says.. Party at Soundlab afterward Sonic Youth. I don't know I got very shy to pass out flyers. But I had so much fun at the concert.
Afterward, at Soundlab, I checked ID and took money at the door. It was really fun. I couldn't stop smiling people because I was telling people.. "ID and 2 box, please" Well, I don't know.. gathering money and checking ID... It's very fun to do it. Of course I couldn't notice some people's ages. Also, I gave "X" marks to people under 21.. Whenever I gave the marks... I said.. "Sorry,, but I have to give it to you" One guy came up to me and said.. "I never ever seen happy door person like you" Yeah.. I had so much fun..
Thanks Robin for being in Georgia right now.
