I am building my body more. (e:matthew) found this treasure in the basement. We shinned it up and it sparkles american red. This is the first time I have really considered changing my body shape. I wonder what it will change about me. I see woman wondering this all the time. Has anyone had experience with their life changing due to changing body shape? It seems like it may turn out to be addictive, yet safer than drugs.
I actually bench pressed today. Who would have thought.
There are lots more weights to add.

I will work outCategory: body
I want to get strong. I am so determined right now. It will probably only last a week but I would like to be 160 lbs. Right now I am really week and am about 135 lbs. I don't knwo if it is even possible for me to weigh 160lbs. My goal is to be that weight in March but I don't want to go to a gym. Or maybe I do.
I just want to be able to not be scared to walk around at night time by myself and to be able to beat up terry and matthew.
First my arms need serious work.
I used to have stomach muscles.
This part is ok for some reason. Maybe lots of sitting.
The part that needs the most work are my legs. To much sitting.
They should make a workout reality TV show for skinny guys who want to be buff. I would definately try to be on it. Until then I am going to make this my personal skinny guy gets buff reality TV show.
This is my target size, lol.

Good luck on the working out. One thing that is important is that it has to be enjoyable. Yes you do need to push your self when you lift but if you enjoy yourself it will make going to the gym easier. You might want to think about taking self defense classes. There are also books and videos for self defense. I don't know what one is the best there are so many.

Good luck. In addition to Jim's healpfull suggestion it also helps to try and actualy have a good time working out. Having uncomfrotable shoes and 'the best of the Mormon Tabernacle Chior' on your iPod spells doom for the gym bunny.

Go for it. I've been trying to put on weight this last year, I've gone from 140 to 170 lbs in the last 6 months. The most important thing for me was to eat more. I could never put on weight no matter how often I worked out until I doubled the amount that I ate every day. You also have to eat consistently. It'll throw your body off missing meals.
Good luck :)

you should start drinking raw eggs. Time to beef up, studmuffin.
I think it would be awesome if you got all buffed out paul - very hot!!! I can't even imagine you like that (buff that is, not hot, although I can't really see you as hot either, but I digress). Don't go too nuts or it'll look like you got stung by a thousand bees!
Changing body shape? Well..I can think of twice that I really "changed body shape". The first time was when I went from playing at working out (I started lifting in middle school) to REALLY working out (when I was in college...it's something that's forced on you when you play college football). I went from about 280 and not very fit (48" chest, 42" waist) to about 295 and VERY fit (52" chest, 36" waist). The second major change was fairly recent. Moving from football to rugby demanded an increase in overall fitness (football requires more strength, rugby much more overall fitness) and so I went from about 270 (I seriously cut down on workouts after college) to 225 by running my ass off.
It can get addicting to some extent...and it's fun to be able to see results
this past august i lost 35 pounds- it completely changed my life.
we shall palaver on this, sometime, if you like.
My dad had the same one in his disgusting basement! Except his smelled of pornomags and beer...
