What Happend This Weekend
So much happend that I couldn't even keep up with my journal for once.

First it was (e:lilho) 's 21st birthday which brought (e:hodown) to town and for those of you that know her, you know it means a weird mix of relaxing and stress. Kind of like sweet and sour, haha. But she is part Chinese so that makes sense in a way.

So I forgot that my account at the server that hosts elmwoodstrip.comm ran out on Sunday, the same time the elmwoodstrip.org server was being updated. So I had a window of about 5 hours to move it all on Sunday after a night of partying. That was oh so fun, it wasn't just a simple move to a server with the same setup, it was huge switch, changing platforms and PHP versions. It was harrowing but luckily I had practiced with the new version of PHP on my laptop's mini server and on the buffalo.kicks-ass.org server so I kind of new what problems to expect.

(e:hodown) tried to kill me with smoke inhalation during the middle of programming but I was able to get through it and add google services to the search. Now if you search for say "checken" and no results come up on the site it asks you if you meant "chicken," it also gives you ten google results for what you are searching for. Basically the search is much better now.

There are so many new surprises and capabilities that will come out now that we have a new server with lots of new modules to work with. I have to go finish working on stuff right now.

Hail the Hale
It poored down icey slushiness for the first time on elmwood this year. I was going to take a picture of it for you all but (e:matthew) lost the extra battery for our camera and the other is charging so that isn't happening.

Political Voice Mail
I really cannot stand political junk voice mail. Is anyone else getting this trash on their phones. I really think that it should be illegal. I have been thinking about cutting my phoneline once and for all and this just adds to that feeling. It is so expensive to have a phone. I think we pay $40/month with no extra services and I honestly answer/listen to the phone only 1 in 20 calls. You could have a sweet cellphone plan for that much money.

I wish I had something [inlink]twisted,13[/inlink] to be that proud of. The man in the link looks so happy.

Matthew Paper Shopping
We dropped (e:terry) off at work and then headed down construction filled Union rd to JoAnne's Fabric to get more paper for (e:matthew) 's papercutting projects.

Holy crap, the bill was $54 dollars.
