VRML was great
Nick,
VRML is dead, let it rest in peace. Try another format like Java3D via wirefusion/UZR or viewpoint models or Shockwave 3D. VRML will always look old and tired.

If you are tsill interested in the format. I have some great books on VRML. You should really read them to understand how it works. They were written about 10 or more years ago.

Funeral For Chuck
My dad's cousin died and I have to go to the funeral today. Hodown, you would rememeber him probably, we sat with him and his wife at my Cousin Paul's wedding at Salvatores. He was only in his 50s, so I imagine the family will be devastated.

This will be the first possibly tragic funeral I ever attended. All of the other funerals I attended were for much older people and everyone would reminisce about how they lived a long and happy life and it was just there time to go, etc.

At least I get to go with Mike. I imagine it may be hard on my dad too. Maybe not, as he seems to have attended a lot of funerals, but it is his first cousin and I can't imagine attending a funeral for Christina or Jennifer, especially if we were in our 50s.

Rocky Returns
So last night ended up beng insane. I decided to take a one night pause and I am glad I did because we had a bunch of unexpected guests come over. One of whom was Rocky. He just showed up after not hearing from either him or Kristina for a long time.

He told me about all of his drama, not wanting to settle down with her yet, etc. He still wants to live it up for a while and said she is already turnign middle aged. I kinda felt bad for him and then wondered if Terry thought the same thing, hahaha. So we went out . . . contact me for further information.

I also saw Jill Ferorce. That will probably only make sense to hodown

Anyways, it was really all very weird. Sorry Chris and Chris for not being the best host.

Candle Burning
image

This was my attempt at modeling candle light using Cinema 4D. It seems to have come out pretty real. Maybe some glow at the top of the wick would be nice for next time.

CRazy coded evening
So where was I on Friday night - playing with my comp as usual. I was working on my new randsom-note php chat room (here is a preview only vowels ransomize), when Matthew at FallingforAutmn notified me of this great website where you can download 94509 corporate logos in eps format.

Vectors are mucho fantastico. They have just about everything including all sports teams such as the Sabres, and you know how I love my sports.

Well, we decided that process had to be automated so I spent the next little while writing a script to sucks the logos off the site automatically and transfer them to our computers. The best part about these logos is that they are full color, but also contain the vecoor paths and can easily be brought into a 3D program for extrusion and manipulation.
