This makes me sick. Acording to a Wired magazine's February 2004 article by Paul Boutin - Starting in 2005 new digital televion and equipment will make it the television signal extremely restrictive in terms of recording television and time shifting television programming. As most of you know I do not watch television ever and could care less. What is important to me is the image they chose to use with this article. It looks like Soviet revolutionary propaganda.

The image looks like a picture of Times Square in NYC with all of the flashing ads, etc. There are two ways to look at this image.

1. It's 2005 and the evil, entertainment industry capatalists are restricting your freedom. Two freedom fighters are resisting the restriction on their unalienable right to television enterainment broadcasts! One ius the saluting the cause while the other shouts "resistance." Is this really calling for a people's uprising against the entertainment industry to free television and entertainoganda (visco 2004) rights for the people? If so, is this the kind of important poeple's resistance we need.

2. Or, is it saying that the US is becomming controlled like a Big Brother Soviet State. And the two people in front are resisting against that. If so, is the industry protecting its entrainoganda copyrights really restricting our true freedoms as Americans. There is no declaration of a free source of entertainment in the constitution as far as I rememeber.

It is so backwards. It is saying, "no, please let us spread your evil corporate and entertainoganda for you. We want to record and spread the message for free and you can't stop us." It is so confusing to me.

The important part, I have two solutions.

1. Show "big brother" you really care about this by not buying their products anymore. Throw out your televsion, cancel your cable subscription, stop going to the movies, and do something else much more revolutionary with your time.

2. Keep your television and VCR, cut the cable and try making your own independent media in your town and sharing it. This would be real revolutionary headline news , Angry Citizens Replace Local Blockbuster with Independent Media Sharing Center Now that could warrant this poster.

It is awesome when Paula Zahn or whoever she is gets unconfortable about describing his sexual identity. He is straight and she uses some werid phrase for it. Anyways, I put it here for Holly cuase I know how hot she thinks he is. Here it is

This is a car I designed for a world simulation environment. When completed I was able to use it as a vehicle to get around in the virtual space.

Texturing this type of model requires a lot of patience. Each surface of the car corresponds to a map of the UV texture coordinates. The images must be layered and merged in order to fit into the proper surface construction.

Like I said before, I am having trouble with the export. I have changed plugins three times, and there were two different versions of performer and two differetn versions of maya. Not to mention that I actually built the masks in Cinema 4D - Hardcore Data Translation. Thank god for formats like FBX.
