today i am sore, after riding bikes all the way to orchard park/ chestnut ridge yesterday. we went to waterfall and the eternal flame, which i'd heard about for years but had never been. it was already lit and was nice to look at, the shale seemed slate-like to me. if youre not familiar with it, the area has layers and layers of shale, which has small cracks in it which allows some of the natural gas inside the earth to escape, and if you hold a flame to some of the escaping gas, it'll stay lit.

we also passed by balistreri's bakery, which according to my friend marc, has great bread but a year or two ago has relocated from the city to orchard park. we didn't get to stop by, but next time you pass it remember that..

oh, and thanks for all the cheektowaga advice, folks. i havent been there yet, but there's still 23 more days of august.

i have a hard time writing anything of real substance on an online journal like this. i think it has to do with the fact that i like knowing who im talking to. but also bc im a private person in general. sorry if you were hoping to find anything out folks..

i was writing an entry about mike seaver and his soul-saving ways that got erased. i wont bother replicating it, but you can see for yourself whether or not youre damned. one interesting thing about kirk is that he married that girl chelsea (who played his gf kate) and they live in the wny area, or so is the word on the street.
